I hope they can muster up one more finals against us. Chances are they will not.

Even though i don't have us as favorites in the east (still, this can change) because off our age, i guarantee you that if this team is healthy it will absolutely kill in a playoff series.

These guys know it's one of if not their last chance to win a ring and they will be absolutely vicious on the floor. With age you lose speed and LA is not a speedy team, therefore this disadvatage will not be so big. Let's not forget that LA wins with size and the celts have what it takes to match. And when it comes to a gruesome physical 7 game series... i favour the celts chances better than yours. Without any homerism, it's just that LA's game does not match up well with ours in a 7 game series.

And if things get emotional (finals, close game) think of how your players (besides kobe) react in such situations. Think of the rockets lakers. Now think of a team with talent that plays like the rockets. I sincerely want to see la-boston in the finals, but basketball common sense says that again boston's old frontcourt will win the day especially when LA does not emphasize on speed.

I agree with this. PJ Brown, Posey and even Powe stepped up big time in the Finals. They added an edge of toughness off the bench that the Celtics no longer have.
