    They weren't even supposed to be in that series. They were supposed to just be happy to make the playoffs. The Suns were the 'best team in the league with the MVP' and the Suns needed to come back from a 3-1 deficit.

    So the two best players on the team missed close to 40 games along with a mid-season coaching/system change (Lakers were the 8th seed before Kobe injured his shooting shoulder) means the lakers should have made the playoffs?
