It's not like he "lost" the game for them.
As much as I disrespect a&m I have to give some respect to Johnson. He played really well today.
It's not like he "lost" the game for them.
Nice to see the Civil War get a little love on ESPN there. Can't wait for that game!
Im glad the longhorns won but damn it was a good game to watch right until he missed that fg kick. Bad ending to a good game.
It's great to see the freshman aggs grow over the course of the season. These bas s are young, and i look forward to seeing how much they can improve over the offseason.
I'm glad Texas pulled it out, but A&M sure put up a fight, and you have to respect that.
Colt deserves 5 good minutes with Erin...he's earned it, and she looks like she'd be down.
"thanks, maam."I love him!
those s were zeroed in tonight, I never saw that kind of performance coming. This is just like '05 - we just can't seem to on thier field in grand fashion. The defense picked a bad time to have a bad game, but I think it's the only abberation they'll have.
2 more to glory.
I wanted this game so bad, Fuller and Johnson were playing out of their minds. Michael was pumped the up too. All the receivers were playing great. I wanted this so bad, and that kicker is off the damn team.
I guess it's good to know that gie can play the best game of their lives, take the best possible shot they have, at home, and Texas still wins by double digits.
hmm...a 6-5 team gave up a kick return for TD, had back to back turnovers (one in the end zone) and missed a field goal. i'm going to go ahead and say no, it wasn't our best shot. t.u. got the breaks...
So then A&M was the better team and Texas just got lucky?
Which is it, A&M or USC?
Make up your damn mind...
i wont call turnovers or KO return "breaks", a missed FG maybe, but that FG really wouldnt have meant much
texas muffed a punt and got penalized for first downs, thats football
no, t.u. is the better team. its just that A&M played with a higher ceiling tonight, just too many mistakes.
mookie,
turnovers are sometimes caused by the defense and sometimes just sloppy play...our 2 were sloppy as was your 1. that with the missed field goal and kickoff return is enough...
but, t.u. played well enough. its just ridiculous to listen to t.u. fan say we played our best, when clearly we played very well...but it easily could have been better.
They got so many breaks, we shot ourselves in the foot
I would called turnovers breaks. Well, one anyway. The missed exchange was all on A&M but the INT was a great play by UT's defense.
i don't know about that pass in the end zone...either the receiver or QB made a wrong read.
I would agree with that.
That is also very possible. If A&M doesn't fumble or get picked off and instead scores, then yes. That being said, Texas made mistakes in coverage that not made, the result could have been the same.
The DB made a of a catch to grab the INT.
Really? I dont know maybe you're right, but it looked like it was a damn easy catch, Johnson threw it right to him.
He made a good play with that catch and had enough smarts to get his foot down.
Still, if he misses that, A&M can still get points and maybe change the game.
Lol aggie trojan montana militia new world order playing the what if game. If aggie doesn't make this turnover, this mistake, this penalty... Rofl.
Nobody has ever played a 100% perfect game. aggies best isn't a perfect game, they aren't that good, their best shot was on display last night. Just be happy you didn't get blown up by 40 like last year.
That QB was surprisingly amazing. His stock will never be higher, if he doesn't cash in after this year he's just another aggie fool.
Great game, but UT was clearly the better team. A&M was playing well, but it was more a rivalry, pride game for them. That being said........"watch out for A&M in the next couple of years..........they will be right there in the Big 12 hunt". Their quarterback, wide recievers and running backs look good.....they are just a bit young still.![]()
