RICHLAND, Wash. — After Sarah Palin spends Thanksgiving with family members at her aunt’s home in Richland, she’ll continue her book tour. The Hastings book store in Richland, 1425 George Washington Way, says she'll sign copies of "Going Rogue" beginning at noon Sunday.

Would you drive an hour & a half to get a book signed? I wouldn't mind but I probably won't. I mentioned it to my wife & she just gave me a crazy look.

I would rather clean bedpans at the local old folks home than go to a book signing by anyone, much less Palin. Even if it was right next door.

Your wife sounds like a smart lady to give you the crazy look

I've only gone to one book signing in my life and it wasn't for a politician. Of course, Sarah Palin really isn't a politician anymore... she just a quitter.

I would only do it for money. Even though Sarah Palin is an idiot, she's very popular. I bet a signed copy of her ty book is worth at least a few hundred dollars.

    Or, about $60 on ebay
Indiscreet. You could have sold it to Jacob for more.

I would if one was in Portland and I wasn't doing anything else. It would be nice to have a signed book, but it's not a big deal.

Yeah, if the person signing it was Tim Duncan or Drob. Never do it for a politician.

Not even Barack Obama? I'm not an Obama lover or worshipper but I wouldn't mind meeting him. He's the President and I'm sure his autograph is worth some money. How many people can say that they have met a U.S. president before?

son the only problem is that the people who would really be interested in buying an autograph of Obama can't afford it. I don't think the welfare checks are THAT much!

How many people do you know that have met a U.S. President before? It's one of those once in a lifetime experiences. Even if you don't like the president or disagree with the president, it's still an interesting experience. I've never met one but I would like to if I was given the opportunity.
