Yall gots got raped by the Portland Pilots led by THE GREAT T.J. Campbell.

I think their best recruit (Tyler Honeycutt) has been injured all year. Losing Darren Collison hurt them a lot, but not having a guy like Aaron Afflalo or Kevin Love to carry their offense the last 2 years has killed them.
Unfortunately if UA wants to continue their record March Madness streak they're going to need to win the conference championship. So far the Pac-10 has looked like a conference where the only team that makes the tournament is the champion, and unfortunately Washington is a much more experienced, talented team. This might be the year UA's streak comes to an end![]()
Wow, is the Pac-10 that bad this year? That's hard to imagine only one team making it to the dance from the Pac-10. I haven't been paying much attention to CBB, usually don't start doing that till january (cept the big games).
I know UCLA has lost a load of talent over the last few years, but normally they just reload.
How's Zona look? Must be weird recently w/o Lute
The last 2 years have been without Lute, so yeah it sucks Sean Miller isn't half the recruiter Lute is but he's a way better coach. Considering how bad UA was supposed to be when Miller was hired, he's done a good job (with the assistance of Tim Floyd freeing up two 4 star recruits by resigning from USC when UA was desperate for any recruits).
UA is really talented but so inexperienced that they'll struggle this year. 7 of their 9 rotation players are freshman or sop res, it'll be a miracle of they keep the streak going. On the flip side, if they only need one development year to recover from Lute Olson leaving, fine by me.
I wouldn't think it would take too long to get that team back on track. Sounds like next year and the year after will be good ones. Zona is a top notch program.
Dude, the Pac-10 sucks ass this year. It's almost sad. However, I still see that conference getting at least 2 at large bids. I think Arizona is probably a 55-45 shot at getting in.
Man, it hurts to see UCLA bring on the suck this year![]()
Sorry but UA ain't making the tourney this year. We suck even despite our two game winning shots by wise-the first one being against the mighty Lipscomb-where the is Lipscomb? And at home. Ouch. With one OOC game left against BYU who we will prob lose to our best win is at home against NCst. Ouch again. Only way UCLA or UA gets in is to with the pac-10 tourney. Both teams are bad though, and FAR from where both programs have been in the 00s. But, both will be back as regular top 20 teams sooner than later.
That's a great question about Lipscomb, but even me being the huge pessimist I am thinks you're being a little too pessimistic. Yeah, chances are no tourney this year, but that was bound to happen given how ty the 2 recruiting classes were prior to this one. With that said, the Pac-10 is incredibly weak. They are every bit as talented as every team besides Washington, you can tell because talent alone has kept them in several games this year (UNLV and Wisconsin mainly), and after a whole season of gelling and experience, they could get lucky in the tourney. in USC won the Pac-10 tourney last year and this year's UA team is a way better team on paper.
The one thing that really has me concerned so far is the recruiting. I don't remember Lute Olson ever losing recruits to Florida International. They desperately need Ray MacCallum, reportedly he has it narrowed down to UA and Detroit University (I guess since his dad coaches Detroit, but I'd still like to hope they'd be able to sway a recruit away whatever the Detriot University is), and they need him bad given Nic Wise is a senior and Momo Jones in sucks.
