3. Hawks (1): Bibby’s left ankle injury not too bad; he scores season-high 21 in Friday win over 76ers.

4. Mavericks (3): They have to fall at least one slot after losing to six Warriors; Bounce-back game against Rockets was inevitable.

5. Suns (6): Did you see Nash’s between-defender’s-legs pass to Robin Lopez? If Melo isn’t MVP of first month, maybe it’s Nash.

6. Magic (4): Van Gundy: ‘I’m not going to be waving pompons and stuff,’ to which we all say: Thank goodness.

a top3 seat is well deserved for Denver imho, and it's also good sign for Spurs to move upwards and return to the range of elites. although the Spurs will miss Bowen and his defense as the season goes deeper, especially in playoffs provided Spurs will reach that far.
