The Mavs have a 50% of winning and a 50% chance of losing.
I think they lose, though. Just another negative accolade for this team.

tee, hee.
lol that was 3 years ago dumb
But if you wanna talk recent PO's, the Spurs got their asses handed to them by the good old boys in blue
But, its still counts, honeybun. You ed up, and that's just the way it is.
dirk4mvp, you have it all wrong. We didn'twhen we lost last year in the 1st round, any knowledgeable basketball fan knew we were going nowhere given the players and injuries we had on the team. So, there was no lost opportunity there. We would have never won the LOB
Let's not pretend...
Now in 2006, that one hurt because had the Spurs played in the finals we would have killed the Heat! Spurs would have curbstomped their ass. Spurs don't lose in the finals.
Unfortunately, Spurs lost in a hotly contested matchup in overtime to the Mavs, so they didn't reach the finals. Now that was sad because Spurs would have gotten the job done. So, yeah that LOB could have been ours... Now that was a sad year, I must admit. I still see images of Manu fouling Dirk
But last year, GTFO...![]()
But something that happened 3 years ago doesn't say anything about our mental toughness right now.
New coach, new players. Different team
But, Dirk is your hub and he's light in the heels, badfish. He himself is on record stating he can't hate an opponent. It's one thing to hold that belief, but, an entirely other matter to say it out loud. Foreign players are like that. Manu is an exception. His blood runs cold and he gets some modi of jollies from sending people into oblivion.
It will never get old for you huh?
Well, enjoy them while you can...![]()
You Mavs guys got the LOB. You had it in your actual possession. And then it went away like the tide going out. It was un ingbelievable. Almost surreal, like an out of body experience. I wanted those Miami f'ks to be denied. I even cried a little bit with ya's. It was just awful.
except, mavs still have same core of players including their "leader" they had back then when they suffered the worst defeat in playoff history.
Except one small problem. Kiki and Del Harris won't be on the bench till Friday, Tom Barrise will be coaching the Nets vs Mavs, hopefully still a disaster and Nets win. I feel better vs Mavs with this game then I'd feel against Lakers. Mavs are more like Heat right now if Nets play well Mavs can be beaten![]()
Best Moments in Mavs History
1.Beating Spurs in 06'
2.Beating Spurs in 09'
3.Best Regular Season Record 07'
Let them have their fun Spurs fans, there's not much else they can gloat about. As for the topic itself the Mavs have no mental toughness to speak of so it wouldnt affect them in that regard. It does however make them the perfect candidate to be the Nets first win, yet another Mavs fail is on its way. Cant wait.
Alright we'll see, head.
Yes.
Nowitzki at 60: "Yes sir, the highlight of my career was to beat the Spurs every season"
Nowitzki grandson: "but grandpa how does it feel to win a championship?"
Nowitzki at 60: "Yes sir that was fun"
Nowitzki grandson: "tell me grandpa how does it feel?"
Nowitzki at 60: "I don't know son I didn't get that far the Spurs kept winning it"
Post the link where I said that dirk4...

After the Mavs pound the Nets into the worst start in NBA history, FkLA is going to cry more than when the spurs got their asses beat in the 09 playoffs.
