One of the really cool things about Santa Elena Canyon is it was once underwater when there was a giant ocean going through the center of North America. All the rock is sedimentary, and there are tons of fossils in it. You see fossilized s s literally everywhere in the rock.

I think Ruben's trying to hitch a ride up the river.
Looks like it'd be a fun trip.

Ruben holding the triforce.
Cool pics !!!
Thanks for posting them
Did you have to give EVERY ING PIC its own post?
A couple of other pics from earlier in the trip (I didn't want to post them yet without first getting the ok from my friends)

Clean the sand out of your vagina. Putting 20 pics per post would just ensure half the people's browsers would crash when loading the page.
4down and Ruben in the grove of color-changed trees just before the South Rim.
Here's some shots from the dirt road I was telling Soul_Patch about earlier

A cool shot of an old church in a ghost-town somewhere between Marfa and Presidio. There's a few people who live out there, but lots of the town looked abandoned.

A shot of 4down and Ruben just past the entrance to the US.
Too bad you can't get back into the country with just a driver's license anymore. I would have killed to cross into Ojinaga for some tacos.
So uh, anyone want to see my Hawaii photos? I can post those in their own thread too.
Amazing pics, BB.![]()
Vacation pics are always good. For instance, check some of MannyIsGod's threads from Big Bend and Yellowstone,
