doesn't matter anyways - Orlando has gone 9-1 in their last 10 games, so it looks like they're a lock to win it this year
I hope KG gets a heart arrhythmia some day for pounding his chest.

Youre missing the point though. This has nothing to do with regular season games. In the playoffs, Dallas, Lakers,Boston, Orlando and maybe Cleveland are on another level. Duncan is just not the player he once was. And in order for San Antonio to reach that 1st tier status, Duncan needs to at least show he's still a Top 5 player. Right now, I dont think that's the case. He's on a decline and any sane Spurs fan would agree to that.
You really think the Spurs can beat the Lakers? I mean, seriously...
HAHA....ok. Dont give up yet.![]()
Not right now....they can barely beat OKC, but if they EVENTUALLY get their together yeah I think they can. They have just as much talent as LA.
i hope he has a sternal fracture to say the least
I think I look at the Spurs a little bit differently than you - Tim doesn't have to be a top 5 player anymore. He did when Tony and Manu were developing, but now he just needs those two healthy to be in the race. To truly contend, he needs a lot better role players than he's had for a while. The role players are there, but it's going to be tough getting them used to the Spurs' system - new players have always struggled with the Spurs' system.

“I'm really glad Tushar stuck with it, even if it was slow at first. I'm really enjoying it.”
What's all that about, Chris Richards?
Yer whacked.
Not possible when the Lakers have the player of the decade and the Spurs don't.
Anyone who truly watched that game can see that free throws and TOs was the story. If the Spurs would have simply taken care of the ball and hit from the stripe, they probably win that game. Boston is a better team at this point, no doubt, but the Spurs can beat them. It's also very obvious that Richard Jefferson has yet to find his niche on the team.
I was most disappointed in the lack of fire from the good guys, though. I hate that Pop doesn't get after their ass like he used to. They can all take a lesson in "heart" from DeJuan Blair. The guy is an absolute beast.
Long way to go. I love that the Spurs are "done" even though they're 4.5 games out of first place in the West and they haven't even played close to their best basketball.
when did Dallas become one of the best in the NBA?
Look, I dont bury the Spurs here they very well go back and win at the TD house like they did last year. But here is the concern ...as the Spurs dic k aroiund with rotations and wait for good health ...they keep losing ground on the Lakers, Mav, Nuggs, Celts and Magic. To win a le they woul VERY likely have to beat 3 of those 5 at least and maybe a a Utah, Hoston or Phoenix in the 1st round ...I questioned whther they had enough to do that BEFORE the injuries cropped up this season. I will not back off my pick of LA/SA in WCF but I am starting to get nervous ...Denver looks dangerous ...as does Dallas SA needs to step up ...
Could this be the curse Bruce Bowen?
Dallas is a paper tiger come playoff time.
It's going to be LA/DEN again. Lawson is for real.
But, Lawson has never played 80 games in a season, or, a single NBA playoff game.
Never said they were beating the Lakers.
Have you looked at Duncan's numbers this year![]()
Like the TnT crew pointed though:::there is no need to double team him any longer.
