the Oz and 6z runs were dries, 12z was slightly wetter. 18z run is being output right now so we'll see what that says.

you just disappointed me, Manny *sniff*![]()
You just broke my ing heart! I was looking forward to having off tomorrow. !!! DAMM!!!
Rob
Latest NAM looks pretty dry in SA but has a band of heavier snow between Austin and Fredricksburg. GFS is showing pretty much the same. Doesn't take much to make it snow in the form of moisture, but everything looks very dry.
Cross your fingers, but really flurries is about all you should expect.
There will be some pissed off Mexicans in the morning!

I'm still hoping I can use this as an excuse to miss work tomorrow....
high-powered V8 + RWD + almost bald tires + Ice/snow = perfect excuse![]()
just need some rain to freeze and hopefully class will be canceled.
Snow falling right now north of Del Rio and just west of Junction. Band is moving south east at a decent clip. If this makes it to SA then most of you will be happy.
On the coast its already raining so if you live near Mookie you might see a good amount of snow later today too. Easjer and Houstonians will make off the best I think though.
I keep looking out my office windows.![]()
the area of snowfall looks like its breaking up as it moves east. Air is pretty dry out there so there's not much to squeeze out. Should be in SA before in 3-4 hours if it holds together but man the radar looks weak.
Its around the Junction area right now.
On the other hand towards the coast looks like there's a good amount of moisture and as the air gets colder it should start to turn from rain to snow later today.
Build a snowman, Mookie.
Mother ers. It's gonna snow today and I'm going to be stuck watching it from my GD office.
it hasn't even snowed here in Ohio yet this year
If it doesn't snow I am going to cry.
It is in fact snowing right now.
Still melting on the ground, but they are saying on the weather that it will likely stick and to expect 1-3 inches in the city.
Crazy, no? I walked through the falling snow to get to my office. I wish they'd shut us down, but apparently not. A lot of schools are closing early; the worst is supposed to be here around noon.
Big, fat flakes. Even me, who didn't want it, is sort of enchanted by it.
No snow here in MI, either. It's actually pretty disappointing.
I cut my grass this week. I don't remember ever having to cut my grass later than Halloween.
Echanting sounds right. I'm so jealous.![]()
it's funny how different people react to snow because of where they live. People who aren't used to it want it to snow, yet they normally live in that region where it doesn't because it doesn't snow regularly there. Like they wouldn't move North so they could see snow. Conversely, the people who normally choose to live in the areas where it snows hate snow. Like I hate snow, but I don't think I would ever move somewhere where it doesn't snow because I like all the seasons. Yet if it snows here today I'm pissed off. Like my girlfriend in college grew up in Miami and loved it when it snowed here and couldn't get enough of it. She moved to California a couple years ago because "It doesn't snow there"
it was like 65 degree here a couple weeks ago. I think it was 60 last weekend
That snow band coming in from the west just look weaker and weaker with each new frame from the radar. They just switched the New Braunfels radar to snow mode and its showing something just south of SA in Atascosa county though and that seems to be spreading up into South San Antonio (near the Police Academy - Palo Alto area) but who knows if thats really falling and hitting the ground.
I don't mind the snow at all.
Blowing snow coupled with negative wind chills? Yeah, that sucks.
People who drive normally, 65-70 on the freeway while on their cell, when it's snowing? Yeah, they suck, too.
Manny, what radar are you watching? Link?
I remember last year in February there was a weekend when the high was -2 degrees. I remember havign to put on 4 layers just to take the dog out. That was the coldest I've ever been in my life. You remember that weekend? I'm sure Michigan had the same thing if not worse
Imagine taking off from San Antonio where it was 60 degrees last January, flying to Denver where it was 70 degrees - then boarding another plane to Michigan where it was -10 degrees. I lost 80 ing degrees in 2 1/2 hours. It was brutal.
The first breath of that air that I took literally made me choke.
