How can you say Tommie Frazier had a better college career than Colt McCoy has? In what insane way can you back that up?
Led team to three consecutive NCGs, back to back NCs, three consecutive NC MVPs.

I don't think the number of wins matter when you were the type of big game player Frazier was in the mid 90s.

Plus, you can't really fault the guy for missing starts when he had that blood clot in his leg.

Quarterback is not the only position on the team. Colt has the highest accuracy in a career, highest accuracy in a season, most wins, and tied for second most passing touchdowns by a freshman. He also holds 10 records at the University of Texas. I would call Frazier the best OPTION QB of all time in the NCAA..but not the best QB of all time. But then again, it's hard to say who would be.

Better QB and better career are seperate things.

Colt seems to be the better QB, better passer by far but Frasier had the les and bug games that gave him a better career.

took on a Miami defense that included Warren Sapp and Ray Lewis in one of those NCs.

    Frazier was a freak.

Better QB to run the option for Osborne? Doubtful.

That's why I said there are too many variables.

Actually, no I didn't. But I bet UTSA grads are a of a lot more intelligent than you. What's your deal with UTSA? Jealous that you don't have a decent education, so you bash people who do? Their college of business is one of the highest ranked in the country. You need new material.

If Colt doesn't go #1 in the NFL draft then pro scouts might tell you Stafford is the better QB.

That's what I'm saying...Frazier was the best option QB of all time, IMO...McCoy is the best QB of all time, once again, IMO...but as you said..too many variables.

That would be why this is about the best NCAA QB of all time, and not the best NFL QB of all time.

not the ones on this board that got so butthurt that they went after other posters in real life and got this college board shut down for a few days.

What's your deal with UTSA? Jealous that you don't have a decent education, so you bash people who do? Their college of business is one of the highest ranked in the country. You need new material.
Na, old material works just fine. You saying "Vick promptly led the Falcons to a Super Bowl" cracks me up every time.

.....to which has already been stated that it's too hard to do since the kids with pro potential leave school early.

It's like trying to ask who the greatest NCAA basketball player of the decade is.

Kobe - no college. Lebron - no college. Dwight Howard - no college.

Gotta be Dwayne Wade, followed by Kevin Durant then Melo.

well if they left early and didnt have a great college resume, then they obviously werent among the greatest COLLEGE players ever. they may have had more potential than other college players, but facts are facts and they didnt perform as well in college than someone like VY, Colt, or Tebow. the coulda woulda shoulda stuff doesnt work in the end. like bo jackson coulda and probably woulda been the best RB in NFL history had he not been playing baseball or gotten hurt. roy tarpley coulda and woulda likely been an all time great if it werent for distractions and drugs. same goes for college. perhaps some players could have been the best college QB if they had a college based system or stayed long enough. but they didnt.
