When did people give a what Marc Jackson thinks?
I couldn't resist.

The most telling statement was made just outside the Laker locker room, where Phil Jackson stood outside waiting for an electric cart to drive him down the tunnel and to his car. I told him Kobe’s shot showed why I’d take Bryant over anyone in the final seconds, even the guy who used to wear No. 23. That caused Jackson to raise his eyebrows. Now maybe with six seconds left, enough time to create a good look, I’d go with Jordan. But with only enough time to take a dribble or two, or to catch and fire, I’d go with the best bad shot-maker ever. Because even when it’s a bad shot, Kobe gives you a good shot at winning.
Jackson processed it all, then said two words that resonated as much as Bryant’s three-pointer: “I agree.”

That would be Phil... not Mark.
my bad
Adande just sucking the s hes supposed to suck
Maybe true. Jordan was better able to create a good shot but without time to create. The main thing is Kobe has more range. But really you can't go wrong with either choice. They both are amazing.
Eh...I still would take Jordan over ANYONE. Dude was amazing....
Talk about ass kissing. Kobe comes through in the clutch no doubt, that was an incredible shot, but I'd take Michael Jordan over Kobe anytime in anything basketball related.
Not sure which jackson, but sure he'll say kobe is better, it's like telling your second wife your first one was better in bed.
exactly. Jackson was on the phone to MJ straight after ensuring him it was just him continuing to boost Kobe's ego after that whole rejection thing in Colorado.
It's easier to ass kiss in the moment rather than ass kiss in the past.
Either is a good option though, guess you gotta give Kobe a little something over Jordan.
To Kobe, a game-winning shot is just like a sexual encounter. He's great at forcing them.
Kobe being Kobe and Phil being Phil....nothing new to see here.
