I get the feeling the Spurs will find a way to pull this one out. Don't want to fall to 9-8 with the home heavy schedule they've had thus far.
Depends on if Brick Mason plays over Manu in crunchtime again because Pop is scared his ankle will explode if he plays over 18 minutes.

Pop said before the game that Manu was on a time limit. He said 20 minutes. Manu played 18. This was something that was going to happen no matter what. The fact it was a close game against a great team and fans wanted him to press does not make Pop change his plans.
If you are asking me as a fan, would I have liked Manu in, of course. But I understood going into the game what was going on. You are acting like if Manu was not injury prone/coming back from an injury, that Pop would have done the same thing.
Setting rigid, arbitrary time limits like that is a good way to lose games. And you did.
God forbid Manu come in at the 4 minute mark down by 5 points and play 22 minutes. The extra 240 seconds would definitely be too risky.

Spurs don't press in the short-term at the expense of the long-term. You may disagree with that, but it has won the Spurs 4 les. The Spurs lost the game, who cares. It won't be the last one the Spurs lose. Pop and the Spurs do this all of the time.
