Guess they'll do the xray thing and report back soon, then MRI during the next day or two? I need to find a replay since it's hard to tell from the descriptions here if it's just a tweak or worse.

Could have just been me, but part of his knee looked concave when I saw it, and Oden was writhing on the ground. But he looked fine after the commercial break, no visible pain then.

My fantasy team is f'd. Oden and Lou Williams and Barbosa.
I have Barbosa, Williams, Oden, and Paul....

fml, but I'm first still though! Williams, Barbosa have already been dropped. Hopefully Oden wasn't badly injured, don't really want to drop him.

Yeah, the knee-cap looked out of place. Maybe it's only a dislocated knee-cap with minor associated trauma.

@johnhollinger Irony: Blazers are having 70s night tonight with throwback unis. I don't think they planned on having star center get injured as part of it. 5 minutes ago

Yeah, I'm going to guess dislocated patella. That would explain how it looked initially.

yup knee definitely looked funny. So what the heck is a dislocated knee cap? I can guess the obvious, but I've never heard of it in bball at least put that way.

A dislocated kneecap can be a fairly minor injury or a quite serious one. It can be 4 weeks or season-ending (or, if the patellar tendon was affected and ruptured, even worse).

IIRC, Bynum didn't have surgery and only after some months of treatment they decided to cut down some spurs on his patella that were creating inflamation, right?

Yeesh. Have to lean towards the latter just based on his reaction and how it looked. What a nightmare for Oden.
