Spurs F Antonio McDyess has not scored in the last three games

I thought after the Rockets game that he'd keep his game in a high level

I agree with that, maybe TP is thinking too much to get others involved that's why so many TOs

I don't want TP thinking about others, he' not that type of player, I want to see him attacking all the time.
    EXACTLY!!!!!

Righ now he is not in EXECUTION mode... he is in "thinking" mode, what to do instead of doing it "without thinking"...

I don't know what Pop is going really... He forgot about making Tony a "classic" PG for years and it worked out for us, and now it seems he wants to insist again...

Tony will NEVER be efficient when he thinks "pass first", he has to execute plays or be agressive toward the rim and in scoring!!

He should only have pick and roll and 3pts plays to do...

Not surprised or shocked Spurs lost. They aren't playing well right now and can't seemt to beat the top tier teams.

All we can do is be patient and hope by the time it really matters, the Spurs become the Spurs we think they need to be.

What if...what if this lineup doesn't gell until next season???!!!
This possiblity has crossed the brainwaves more than a few times. Pop may find a line up that works in 2010...now whether all same players are here...that's a different story.

please tell me you're joking. That "rookie" was putting in work on Garnett/Rasheed
    Yes, but why now??
Why only 12 min of play and suddenly at that momment??
It looked like a desperate/"genius" move, instead of drawing a 3pt play for ex...

Awaiting word from timvp......in all the multiple "Trade Jefferson", "Trade Ginobili" "Fire Pop" "Why is Finley in the game and various numerous doom/gloom threads, it's nice to hear some objective, thoughtout analysis.
It's not as bad as it seems is it???

Don't know which threads, but I definitely posted about being happy to take Jax back (although I also doubted it would happen since Pop would probably baulk, and we don't hav much the Warriors would want).

As for Manu, I think we can properly assess his health in about 10 games, but we should be quietly feeling out what's availbale for him if, as I suspect, we discover that he has finally lost a step (which would totally hamper his effectiveness) due to all the leg injuries and pounding he has taken over the years.

There was no other player in the backcourt to pass to, and surely calling the timeout in that situation is the inballer's (Tim's) repsonsibility given that TP was running like a bat out of trying to get open.
Yeah you may have said that you wouldn't mind Stephen back, but I guess it got lost in the shuffle and I didn't read it. The thing is a lot of people said that RJ is a lot better than SJax and we don't need him. I thought SJax is better, especially for this team, but oh well we got RJ now.

I just want to give Manu some time, but yeah he is not holding up well. Like Pauleta14 said would the Spurs ever trade Manu in the middle of a season?

The thing that makes me think Manu is OK is if you remember the Dallas game at home earlier in the year Manu was driving a lot in the first half of that game, but then in the second half he stopped and let RJ keep going. After the game Manu said in an interview, I don't think this was in print anywhere, just in the interview he said he tweaked his hamstring and was paranoid about sitting out any games so he took it easy for the second half of that game.

It might just be a mental block or him being paranoid like he said after that Dallas game. He doesn't want to get hurt so I think he's not trying as hard to get to the rack. You don't think Pop would have told him to not drive as much do you? I also think him being out of shape and rhythm is effecting his play too.

Hey Marco. Have a great day. Great that you were able to stay up for the game. Disappointing the Spurs played that poorly though.

Maybe someone should remind TP that their a fans in other countries staying up late to watch him play like he used to do when he watched the Bulls. Someone should tell him not to play so sloppy for those fans .

He got like 10 minutes the next game though. More of Pops with the guy that is hot and in form rotations.

I seriously say you can again blame Pop for that. How is McDyess supposed to keep it going when he got stuff all court time the next game?

Btw Tim Duncan is playing great.

I want Tim to get more rings. It really sucks seeing him on a team playing this crappy when he should be the one tying to get a little rest.

The spurs FO will NEVER get rid of Manu in the midle on a season!!! never!
It would be such a lack of respect regarding all he gave to the club...
First round exit it is then.
