id still like to see TCU join the big 10 so itd be renamed the "Bigger 12" and have a conference championship
sheeeeeeeeit. Dude turned in a 2007 silence of the lambs tucked ass perf. Held on to the ball forever and threw the ball terribly all night. Under pressure or not, it was a shameful overall performance offensively. He basically laid down like favre for strahan on two of those sacks. But anyway, the worst part was G Davis. If he had a brain, this might have been an easy victory. He pushed all the wrong buttons.

The Mountain West needs to be expanded to include Boise.
I really hope its not Boise Iowa, if their qb is still injured than Boise will have a easier chance to win. I hope cinci goes to the orange bowl though so A)quick drive for TCU fans to the sugar bowl and B)Tebow loses again, tebow
omg what an amazing game. That field goal looked money in person so much more....watching it on TV I had no idea it was that close!
What a great great ing game. This is what football is all about. Suh is such an amazing player, every time Nebraska made a tackle it seemed like he made it, and the entire nebraska corner would yell "SUUUUUUUUHHHHHHH!!!!"
Crazy ass in game, we did not capitalize on ONE forced turnover.
Our kickoff coverage again came close to kicking our national le hopes in the balls.
I'm sticking up for Colt on this one. Definitely was not a Heisman performance by any means, but only one of those interceptions was his fault...the second one into double coverage. The first was totally sooner-esque random, and the last was Dan Buckner being so much of a pussy that he cannot fall down with the ball already in his hands. I mean what the do you people expect out of any quarterback when his offensive line is getting beaten down to their asses every play? The two or three plays he had good pass protection, his receivers were on lock. The only pure mistakes Colt made was constantly bootlegging out of the pocket and expecting to make plays on the run. Every time he did this he was sacked for a loss. Just throw the damn ball away dude!
Also, had James Kirkendoll simply caught a ball perfectly placed in his gigantic catcher-mitt hands, we would have had the game wrapped up in the third quarter, and Colt woulda had another TD to help his Heisman chances. After that drop, I knew it was going to come down to whoever had the ball last.
One thing about Texas that makes us suck donkey balls right now: Special teams.
The defense came to play tonight, was incredible. I don't give a what you say about the Nebraska offense, our defense was incredible.
BOTH offenses got completely shut down because they had absolutely no ability to control the line of scrimmage.
But the special teams is what ed us, shot us in the foot, and almost made us lose this game. We started out being a potent scoring threat on special teams...and have slowly turned into a total non-MOVE THE ING BALL threat, whilst also giving up mad ing yards on every ing punt and kickoff. Sad.
Nebraska outplayed us tonight. They deserved to win. But we somehow pulled it out. Hunter Lawrence just became a UT god. He deserves the Groza. I had no idea that kick was a 46 yarder. Good lord. I think he has missed two, maybe three all year. And one was into the wind from the 50 yard line against UTEP. Somehow, someway, this team pulled out the win. And that's what great teams always do.
Let's just hope that ing special teams bull gets fixed, good thing we have a whole month to sort that out.
Hook 'em.
Hopefully when Muschamp takes over he cans Davis and moves Applewhite to OC.
Davis ed up almost the whole game.
. It was penalties that put Texas in FG range at the end, not the offense. If Nebraska didn't kick off out of bounds they probably would have won.
Sometimes you need luck to win games. It HAPPENS to everybody. Bama got lucky as against Tennessee. They nearly choked that game away and a block saved their season. Luck is part of the game. We will see next month if Texas sorts out their flaws.
roflroflroflrofl
you haters are such stupid pussy holes
i just finished re-watching the game on tv. You all made it sound like Colt was red-eyed tears flowing crying like tebow. After reading this thread I was like holy now I feel like such a for making fun of Tebow.....rofl
He was kneeling on the ground praying to his lord and master. The dude was not even red-eyed when he got up. You in posers. Not one freaking tear on camera. Try again next time, BOYYYYYS
Glad that a lil boy from Tuscola has made you all so butthurt.
lmao timvp scoffing the horns all game
sad really
not a gig'em by the way
that was a chicken call at the end. if a reciever/defender is tippy toeing at the outline the clock doesn't stop before they are able to complete a catch that was bull .
also a chicken call that they downed the kick at the one yard line.
are you talking about a punt.......well, again if the receiving team were athletic enough to catch that ball while still inbounds you could have advanced it........
Longhorns...please don't embarrass us in the le game. That is all.
now we all know college football is timvps game
we know this
the guy is like keith jackson, alonzo stagg and joe paterno rolled into one
you should realize his last college forum post was troy smith >>> vince young
these are the things we know.
This...exactly this.
i expect him not to throw 3 interceptions and keep taking sacks over and over again
if colt has one standout talent its a quick release, he could have thrown about 8 sacks and ints out of bounds
Good point. I had actually forgotten about that. I almost crawled into the tv so I could try to choke the life out of him.
Classic.
I stopped reading a large portion of this thread bc amarelooms made my head hurt. I might have to go back and re read it.
I'm going to also admit that I stopped watching for the entire 4th quarter. I happened to click on espn's website and saw there was only a minute left and went back in to see the final couple plays.
Held on to the ball? Where did u want him to throw it? He was buying time waiting for his receivers to clear coverage but they didn't. Nothing he could do there. The main thing was allowing them to get away with playing 7 DBs without running over them on the ground. If the oline does it's job, gets nasty, and blows just 4 linemen off the ball for 5 to 10 yrd gains repeatedly then they have to abandon that defense and bring in linebackers.
Two problems - oline not blowing them off the line with that setup and Davis not running Cobb in, lining up in a power I and plowing into a defense playing 7 DBs with only 4 lineman.
LOL I made your head hurt and you DIDN'T WATCH THE 4th????
Leave your man card at the door....

Going by statistics...marginally better than Nebraska
Also though in some of the top categories Texas has better stats than 'bama.
is it not? if the spurs beat the celtics in game 7 by 1 would you not be happy? would you want the spurs to refuse the trophy?
I didn't watch teh fourth bc my tv was about one play away from getting smashed into a million pieces.
and yes reading your goty posts makes my head hurt. I can literally feel my IQ lowering
yes...I agree....his posts are so lacking of knowledge it's ridiculous.
Haha good one...I'm still recovering from last night and will not get fired up arguing with you now. I call it like it is....if you actually knew football you would realize 99% of what I say is right
