No dumb ass, the discussion is best player. Durant is better right now than Melo. Best college career goes to Melo.

See the difference between better player and better career? See, you learned something.
Durant is phenomenal, but Melo leads the league in scoring, has better FG% and plays fewer minutes than Durant.

Melo won a le, but Durant had better stats and won a load of awards including best player.

I'd say you have it backwards depending on how you define "best college career".

what sucked about watching it live was that instant replay wasnt invented until 2007

VY was the greatest college football player I have ever seen play. By his third year he could do it all. If he had stayed for his senior year, he would have set the wins record easy. His ability to run made him the best.

Dude..seriously..that was not about McCoy...His line couldn't handle Nebraska's front line, and Pelini knew that, so he dropped 7 DBs in the game...it's that simple..no QB could have played well in that situation.

we all knew the line was , colt didnt wake up this morning and see five new guys

and 7 dbs wasnt the entire game

the guy has no scrot, you could tell he was going play like ing garbage one minute into the game, its mental weakness, i dont know if he thinks the bibles going to save him or what but hes not an all-time great or even that much better than jerrod johnson or taylor potts

colt deserves almost all of the criticizism greg davis has received all year, maybe its wishful thinking but i have to believe greg davis is smarter than this. I think he knows colts limitations just like i do

hes got a freeroll v alabama and all of this will just be hardcore fan ing if he wins i'll give him the credit, but like ive said before this season is in the defenses hands

if it said "port arthur" as his town of origin mookie would be sigging and avatarring Colt's nutsack left and right

    tonight was not colt's fault

    1) offensive line
    2) special teams
    3) mack brown being exposed yet again and not calling a ing timeout that almost cost us the entire season

    bull

an uncalled timeout had nothing to do with colt playing like

i dont know how else to say it, colt has games where you can tell hes going to play like a little the whole game. he has no authority

chris hall, tanner and huey were atrocious as USUAL, I dont know anyone who thought the middle 3 were going to be our strength against two badass DTs for nebraska

yes the playcalling stupid, AS USUAL, colt had 2 picks in the first quarter, so that makes yall want to start throwing the ball deeper against a team who we're holding to 60 yards offense the entire game. thats foolish

Vince Young being proclaimed the greatest college QB ever is a ing joke. I know there's Texas homers here but that's just insane. He probably wouldn't make anyones top 5 list.

A team that was called the best team ever couldn't stop one player for an entire game in the clutch, and it's a joke? Sounds like you're a joke. Maybe college football's not your game. I know...let's try a spelling contest..

It's like I said this board is full of Texas homers who proclaim Vince Young to be the greatest thing since...maybe jesus christ.

I don't even know what you are basing your rankings of Vince Young. I think most experts would put at least 5 QBs ahead of him if not more. I'm not doubting he was a good college quarterback..mainly based on his running ability. But he was far from the greatest QB ever in college football.

dude read the thread, dont come with your yearly post and try to drop science, we're talking modern modern era

list your five, rather, google search experts picks for top 5 college quarterbacks of all time, then copy and paste

Modern modern era? WTF? The first post clearly says greatest college QBs of all time.

I'd put Tommie Frazier up there, John Elway as well. In fact alot of the best college qbs had better yards and more touchdowns than Young did. It's like I said..I'm not sure what anyone on this board is basing it on. Stats, wins, national les? Because Matt Leinart has all of these over Vince Young..more touchdowns passing than Young had passing/rushing combined, more wins than Vince Young had, and more national les.

LOL - I can see this list now. Tebow, Elway, Tommie Frazier, Leinart, and Peyton Manning (though Tee Martin was the guy who led Rockytop to a le).

Like I said..homers. And I have no idea what you're basing it on. If it's stats then Leinart wins, if it's wins...Leinart also has more, if it's touchdowns..Leinart also has more, les..also has more. The only thing Vince Young has more of that Leinart doesn't is interceptions.

Regardless of what you might say about a shared national championship..it is one.

I'm not here saying Leinart is the greatest. I just question what alot of you who proclaim him to be best are basing it on. Looking at stats he's not the best, national les not the best either. My only guess it's just because a majority of the board here are UT fans.
