Haha good one...I'm still recovering from last night and will not get fired up arguing with you now. I call it like it is....if you actually knew football you would realize 99% of what I say is right

No..you call it like your midget brain thinks it is. What you say is ...period.

    thanks

ON a side note, I just took a peek at the stats from teh game last night. I remember one of the announcers saying Nebraska only had 106 yds offense, it's another thing seeing it on paper. I mean seriously 6/19 for 39 yds and 3 picks?

Going by statistics...marginally better than Nebraska
Also though in some of the top categories Texas has better stats than 'bama.

is it not? if the spurs beat the celtics in game 7 by 1 would you not be happy? would you want the spurs to refuse the trophy?
I just can't believe Bama has anything close to the D-line Nebraska has, namely Suh, duh. Chop blocks were bouncing off him like nothing.

Held on to the ball? Where did u want him to throw it? He was buying time waiting for his receivers to clear coverage but they didn't. Nothing he could do there. The main thing was allowing them to get away with playing 7 DBs without running over them on the ground. If the oline does it's job, gets nasty, and blows just 4 linemen off the ball for 5 to 10 yrd gains repeatedly then they have to abandon that defense and bring in linebackers.

Two problems - oline not blowing them off the line with that setup and Davis not running Cobb in, lining up in a power I and plowing into a defense playing 7 DBs with only 4 lineman.
to me, he looked like he was rattled, like vs A&M after K-State knocked him silly. went down when he could have thrown it away, and was jittery in the few good pockets he had, and then made a lot of really inaccurate passes. but you are right, how Davis could not come up with a better game plan than chop blocking Suh on the first series is beyond me.

They're a good team...but I still have my doubts if Texas is even the best team in their own state
And they still might have enough to win it all. Says something about this great state, doesn't it?

Yes..but it also point how corrupted this current system is

Which, until further notice, won't change due to making $$$

It's a deadhorse but it is also responsible for killing some of the enjoyment I used to have with College Football
No way TCU is better than Texas...this happens every year...some smaller school thinks they belong. Truth is, they haven't played the right schedule to get there...if TCU played Texas, the Horns would win.

who the did texas beat this year? 4 garbage OOC opponents, a down, injured OU team... and then a sea of mediocrity/ .

First off, the OOC schedule wasn't their fault..they scheduled Arkansas, but Arkansas backed out. As bad of a schedule as Texas played, TCU's was worse, because of their conference.

For some reason every time we play Nebraska it always comes down to the wire no matter which team is favored by what. The James Brown 4th down pass that beat the heavily favored huskers, the Ryan Bailey in the snow game that beat them in Lincoln, and last night. Just that kind of rivalry.

How many people here actually saw the James Brown pass in the big 12 le game from Kansas city? I bet a lot of u kids were too young for that one, that was a ing awesome game.

Or how about Peter Gardere and the Cash twins dominating OU?

Gardere and his 6.5 40 streaking down the middle of the field for a TD

i expect him not to throw 3 interceptions and keep taking sacks over and over again

if colt has one standout talent its a quick release, he could have thrown about 8 sacks and ints out of bounds
Dude his first interception was sheer chance. It happens. His second was entirely his fault. His third was Dan Buckner not being able to just fall down without a Cornhusker stripping him before his knee hit the ground. Nothing to do with Colt.

Over half of the sacks Colt took were because Nebraska completely liquified our entire front five. He had like half a second to make a decision, at least he did not fumble while taking his sack. Colt took some brutal ass ing hits in this game, and he did not fumble once. Give him credit for that.

The main thing he did that kept shooting us was bootlegging out of the pocket and not throwing it away...the couple of sacks and running out of bounds because of this were his chief mistakes last night.
Not a hesiman performance in the least but he played solid.

Also, even though i hate using the phrase, Colt's two pooch punts in the second half were the best punts we had all night, and pinned nebraska into horrible field position. In this game field position was everything and he came through with two great kicks.
