Texas is a gimmick run and shoot team who played a soft schedule and was let off the hook multiple times this year. Nebraskas pussified conservative playcalling, TAMU's cluster s on defense and special teams, Bradfords injury...Alabama has played multiple teams better than the best team Texas has played (LSU, Florida, VT) and is a well oiled machine offensively and defensively with the best coach in college football. I expect this to be an embarrassment comparable to Oklahoma/USC , Florida/OSU, LSU/OSU etc.

Well...Texas is guaranteed to win it now...The same guy who said Dallas won the le in 2006 is saying Bama's gonna win it this year...I feel a lot better now.

If you're going to base a team's chances on their last performance then Alabama wouldn't have even gotten within a touchdown of Florida considering the way they played against Auburn. NO ONE has been impressive all year except TCU, who still shouldn't jump Texas cause they didn't have to play in a conference championship game. Alabama had ONE great game (and as much as I hate them, it was prolly mostly a deer in the headlights effect for florida) and suddenly they are the most complete?
All I really gotta say is, Texas is undefeated which is more than what you could say about the last THREE champs.
well said. You can say what you want about a team after a bad game, but the National Championship will be a different game. Sure, Texas will be a heavy underdog, but that's why they play the game.

As much better as I think Bama is, it does seem like the #1 team gets overhyped and set up for failure every year, and this year is no different.
