I think its the best for a person to forget his/her ex and stop all the contact you have with her/him, especially if you are in a new relationship. No worries, no bull , no other kind of . Plus, I hate it and I think its very disrespectful, if you still have contact with your ex, while being in a new relationship.

Except maybe if you have kids with your ex, than its normal, you must have contact.
