For those saying Dwight because of how young he is, don't let his age fool you. IMO, if he hasn't developed a post game at this point, he never will. He's a lot older than 24 as far as NBA mileage goes, when you consider how much his game is based off athleticism, it's even worse.

I'll poo poo on Dirk all day long...but i respect the out of the guy. On a team full of players that will periodically just not show up...he always comes to play.

One of the most impressive things i've ever seen out of him was actually last postseason against Denver. It was like the entire team had given up, but he was out there fighting and working his ass off. He's the bed before..but it's cause he's always had to do everything in the clutch. Duncan could give it off to either Parker or Manu in crunch time, Dirk has JT, and he's just not dependable.

Hakeem could too. Dwight can't do it. He's a very good player and he can anchor a defense. That's incredibly valuable. But when is this guy gonna learn how to play center?

He was a regular rotation player in Dallas. The Magic are basically paying him $8 million this year to sit on the bench. They could've found somebody else to do that for the vet minimum and not pay a dollar for dollar luxury tax on the salary.

No. Howard never had it won like Dirk did. Howard has no shame coming. He got Bynumed & Gasoled. Dirk, on the other hand was in full possession of the LOB and simply led his fellows out the side door, enmass when Miami finally resisted. He's never had the screws put to him for his shameful act. He's been permitted to go about his business in Texas without the constant harangue he so richly deserves.
