So where does Gasol state he wants more touches?

After their 102-94 defeat Saturday against the Utah Jazz, forward Pau Gasol wanted more touches.
He made a plea for more action in the post after being asked how it felt to collect 20 rebounds for a second consecutive game.
"I'm just being active, pursuing the ball," he said. "I don't get many looks offensively, so I've got to get my offensive rebounds. Otherwise, I'll get five shots during the game. I'm trying to get my looks there, and I work hard and stay active and do what I can."
So where does Gasol state he wants more touches?
@ 'otherwise, i'll get five shots a game'
I know, but, where does Gasol state he wants more touches?
Hey it's the LA journalism you should be mad at. I never said he wanted more touches![]()
Your capitulation is duly acknowledged.
lmvictoriousao!
Let the dumbass Spur fans talk about how this will destroy the lakers chances of repeating.
This pisses me off. Give the ball to Gasol. Kobe should be taking his shots, but the rest of the team needs to take a few less so Gasol can get more looks
Snakes are unique animals. Unlike many other animals who live in packs and herds, snakes live individual and independent lives. They often kill fellow snakes. In fact, the first hatched of black venomous snake even kills his brothers and sisters so he can take all the food left by mother snake. And when I say "black venomous snake" I mean the black mamba, Kobe Bryant. And when I say "kill his brothers and sisters so he can take all the food left by mother snake" I mean "elbow a Vujacic in the ribs or punch a Gasol in the back of the head or slap an Andrew Bynum at whim to keep them in line as he takes 30 shots in a game even when his shot is off."
Para bailar la Mamba.
Everybody in the Lakers like to play the post, that's Gasol's problem. I wonder how playoff referees will deal with this - will they allow defenders to use more contact down low as they traditionally do? If so, the Lakers better hope Fisher and Kobe find their long-distance stroke at some point during the season.
There are no problems. The Lakers are winning, the spacing is fine and Gasol had the second most shots on the team. If anyone should be complaining it is Bynum.
So the Lakers lose a regular season game and people have 2nd thoughts?
WTF
Artest should only shoot to keep teams honest. He should never have more or equal shots than Bynum.
Pau has hurt his rebounding. Kobe, Artest, Gasol and Odom can all rebound. So Bynum is getting some taken away from him. But he was rebounding fine when he had to carry that load with Pau out.
he said the same thing last yr after a frustrating loss. the way i saw the game he got touches not shots. the jazz doubled hard anytime a player was in the paint and the lakers shot the 3 taking what the defense was giving them, unfortunately for the lakers they were 3-20
Jazz just forced the Lakers to shoot the 3 and caught them on an off shooting night.
Leave it to Luva to turn this into a Bynum bashing thread. What is this, Lakersground?
And Pau is just showing his backbone. That's how you earn Kobe's respect - not be afraid to tell him when his stinks. Even indirectly. Pau learning from the Zen Master.
Non-issue. Pau's going to get his shots next game.
After their 102-94 defeat Saturday against the Utah Jazz, forward Pau Gasol wanted more touches.
That was pretty funny.
Pau makes jokes like these all the time.
Shoot, after spending all those years in Memphis, he ain't gonna f*k it up here...he's achieved Rockstar status here and in the Hispanic community around the world.![]()
Kobe has been ridiculously good this year, and efficienct too - but i dont think anyone should be taking 22 shots per game when you have Pau Gasol on your team. If there is going to be more shots for Pau, they will have to come from Kobe - and i dont see that happening.
Kobe - 21.8 FGA, 48.1%
Artest - 10.7 FGA, 43.1%
Odom - 8.0 FGA, 40.5%
Bynum - 12 FGA, 57.5%
Gasol - 11.1 FGA, 57.8%
Well, when Gasol states he ain't gettin' enough touches you let old Cubby know, tootsweet.
