I have been a cowboys fan since day one but this is predictable and pathetic. They are not going to make the playoffs. In fact after next week they will be 2 back of a wild card spot with 2 to play.

Guess you don't watch many Cowboys games. This game was on our offensive line, and after Ware got hurt, the defense couldn't stop anything. Maybe the Chargers just played well..ever think of that?

I admire the Cowboy fans who are refusing to give in. The only problem with that is it is going to sting much worse in the end. They are 0-2 in December and have to travel to New Orleans next week. Losing Ware makes that D dramatically worse. Brees is going to have a field day. Sadly they will move JG up to head coach. Jerry is paying him like one and he is going to waste yet another season by giving JG a chance.
I know we're going to have a new coach next year...I'm just not giving up on this year. In case you haven't noticed, we're still in a tie for first if the G-Men win.
WTF does that even mean? Did you miss the game or something? Are you denying that we only lost by 3 and our offensive line couldn't give Barber 1 ing yard with 3 downs to do it? Are you denying that after Ware went out, San Diego scored in 3 plays from our side of the field, and the D wasn't the same after that? Did you even watch the damn game, troll?
Yeah...believe me, this is going to be a tough road. But I'm not ready to give up. I believe we can beat the Saints. They've had some games that were REALLY close against teams that are inferior to us (Atlanta), and if we get our rhythm going, we have a shot. Is Dallas the best team in the league? no. Do we have a shot at winning it? Yes, if we get in the playoffs, we do. Dallas is inconsistent as , but when they're playing well, they play REALLY well. If we can do it at the right time, anything's possible.
As long as they're playing they have a chance. The coaching is really hindering the talent they have though.

That sounds all fine and dandy but we've been hearing that forever on this team but they just dont get it. Its the same story year after year. Changes need to be made. Period.
Nothing changes with the Cowboys until stick abdicates his GM responisibilties. He can fire Wade, but it wont do any good because no one worth their salt will work with him...unless Jerry gives that guy complete autonomy over football operations and agrees to only sign the checks.
Wade Phillips is not a good coach, but he's not a bad coach either. You rarely see him botch clock management or get outfoxed by the other guy on the sideline. He's actually a good gameday coach in my opinion. However, his players ultimately can't respect him when they see that he has no authority and has to go upstairs for approval before doing anything.
And there's no way Shanahan or Cowher comes here to be Jerry's purse boy. He'll fire Wade and either promote Princeton boy, or bring in another retread yes man.
The fact remains that the Cowboys haven't won a single playoff football game in Jerry's tenure with a roster that wasn't put together by Jimmy Johnson. Wow. Just think about that. Take that star decal off the helmets, and the Cowboys have basically been the Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns since Jimmy left. Actually, have either of those teams won a playoff game since 1996?
