not even that. if texas loses it wont be because alabama had a harder schedule, just like if texas wins it wont be because the big 12 is better, the champion plays the better game and wins the championship

people dont understand that all theyre spouting is the unoriginal recycled espn talking points on who is deserving to go to the bcs. the schedules dont matter because THEY PLAY EACHOTHER IN THE NEXT GAME. its like people physically cannot discuss actual football anymore.

I may never understand this. Both teams beat everyone they played. Neither looked fantastic in every contest. Their opponents were there to win, not just roll over because UT or Bama had a shiny little number in front of the school's name on the ESPN ticker.

You need some luck to win 13 in a row. Both teams got it. Rocky Top is probably lighting up SEC forums over how beatable Bama is. , Cincy and TCU squeaked out games. I'd rather my school face a little adversity than pummel someone every week. How else do you prepare to play another undefeated team?

Yeah, Texas caught breaks. I've been around when we couldn't catch one to save our collective asses. I'll take 13-0 and a le game slot over winning pretty and having the nation cream their tightey whities over being a juggernaut. If the Horns win none of this matters anyway.
