look like a > 52 win team to me!
Wrong link.
If the Spurs still had Bruce Bowen on the team, I would give them the nod...but Boston with Sheed/Pierce/Shuttlesworth/Garnett is just too much to handle. I would say that the Spurs beat LA in 7 in the WCF then lose to the Celtics in 6 in the Finals.
The Cavs could be a bit of a sleeper team too. 5 years off of Shaq and Big Z to go with Lebron could make some noise.
He wouldn't even be the best player on his team, which is a common theme for Manu.
its the celtics and its not even close. morons saying the spurs and lakers can go chug some
Some years ago Ginobili won the silver medal (would have been gold if he had played in the final) in the wolrd cup played in Indianapolis playing with Pepe Sanchez, Andres Nocioni, Fabricio Oberto and Ruben Wolkowiski while Pierce ended up 6th playing with Reggie Miller, Baron Davis, Ben Wallace and Shawn Marion among others. Are you saying Pierce would have been able to lead that Argie team to more wins?
I know you don't give a about this, but if you use that argument I can use this one.
thats completely different and you know it you moron.
its different when you have practiced and played on a team together for years, knowing each others roles and the game plans, whereas the US team was just a cluster of stars that have never played together before.
Right, cause since we're talking about the NBA, me talking about the NBA is equivalent to you talking about the olympics.
World Championship not the Olympics, and I'm just talikng about who is/was the better basketball player.
If you polled 30 GMs 5 years ago and asked all of them to rank Allen, Pierce and Manu from best to worst, at least 25 of them woud have Manu at #3 on the list.
Maybe, but they would be wrong.
I'm surprised you're not a GM given how you know so much more about than they do.
I'm sursprised too.
This is true.
Here's another lone truth: Manu was Kobe's contemporary.
IF he'd:
A. been an American boy, born on American soil
B. stayed healthy
we'd a been feted with greatness.
I can only imagine what Paul Pierce would look like with talent around him in his prime. Had he even something close to a good team around him, you all would be comparing him to the all time greats.
I don't think Manu would have ever reached Kobe's level, I do think that if he would have landed at age 20/21 to the league and in a less talented team, now nobody would thinking that Allen and Pierce are better players than him.
Allen > Pierce
Manu's not the first player with health problems. No one puts Ralph Sampson in the same class as Kareem Abdul Jabbar just cause he was almost as good as Kareem when he was healthy.
Sampson was a bum, at prime. A black Shawn Bradley.
Right cause Shawn Bradley had several 20 point 10 rebound seasons.
so if you are calling us trollable, then are you admitting that you are massively overrating manu?
Yup! He's admitting all his Manu homerism was a joke the entire time. Good job trolling, I guess.
