Popeyes chicken is trash. Their red beans and rice is outstanding though, and is the only thing I ever get from there. KFC was pretty good until about 5 years ago; it has since turned even worse than Popeyes.
Bill Miller's fried chicken is outstanding, and their fries are awesome too. Still, this place takes #1 for fast-food chicken:

One of my personal favorite meals is my red beans and rice with grilled boudan.
Popeyes is a hit and miss.. more likely a miss.

Popeye's is what's up because of the Cajun influence.... that's the simple reason why no other fast food chicken spot can compare.
I'll always choose Popeye's over KFC any day and yeah it ain't hard at all to make good red beans and rice but I do like Popeye's gravy.

The problem is not that no one can make it...the problem is that Popeye's is the only fasfood chain that makes it. Or if they aren't there's is the best.
People that like Popeye's like it because it's got cajun e. although it's usually not very strong e. I always get suckered into getting it because of the e and am always underwhelmed.
My major problem with Popeye's is that their service ing sucks ass and their chicken is usually cold or takes 20 minutes to cook.
And that one dude in that video was right...they are almost always out of something.
Anyway:
Church's has the best chicken.
GoldenChick had the best chicken tenders. Seriously...they kick the out of any and all chicken tenders on the planet. They also have the best catfish. Their catfish is better than most restaurant catfish.
I don't like KFC although I did when I was a kid...but one time my Dad or Mom brought some home that was ing nasty and I got sick from eating it. I don't eat KFC after that.
Popeyes's wins on Redbeans and Rice, Greenbeans and I liked their naked y chicken strips but they stopped carrying those.
That's because most of the time Popeye's employs slow ass black people. Find a Popeye's with some Mexicans working the drive thru.

I tried the chicken tenders at Church's once and got some bull in a box that was tougher than beef jerky. Church's is a hole IMO.

I think when dealing with fast food chains, different locations can be drastic changes from one another. Going back to your chicken express post, I love chicken express. I once ate there every single day for over a month straight, and serendipity salt is the shiz. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Kennedale, but one time I ate there and it was totally . Nothing like any of the other chicken expresses ive been to. And I've been there since then and the food was fine. Alot of it has to do with who's running it at the time. Teenagers working for minimum wage don't give a flying if your food sucks.
