Obviously this is a question a doctor can answer when she goes in for her appointment for a birth control prescription.
Not every question in the world needs to be answered by the internet, some can be answered the good old fashioned way.
o,
I am asking a question on behalf of my girlfriend. We are young people and she is looking to start taking birth control pills. We haven't done anything, and don't know how long she has to be on the pill before we are 99.99% risk free in terms of protection.
No jokes please, she is going to a doctor for advice as well. Google didn't help as much as she thought it would.
Thank you
Mrs mob

There isn't a need to always use the internet, but it is convenient.

Page 9. Depends on cir stances. Almost guaranteed after 7 days in a row.
I'm not a woman, but google doesn't care.
Most doctors will tell you to go through a full month's cycle on the pills before fully relying on it, and that's pretty good advice if you're a woman with irregular periods and ovulation. And if she's on anything low dosage, you do HAVE to take it at the same time every day (set a cell phone alarm or something), otherwise it can lose its effectiveness - especially if you take a pill off of schedule in the first week - or it can cause the user to breakthrough bleed.
The differences between the pills are significant - different types of progestin and estrogen, varying dosages of both, or there are some that are progestin-only. It's good to ask the doctor as many questions as you think you may have.
Keep using condoms, even if she's on the pill. A few minutes of pleasure isn't worth 18 years of child support.
Just pull out and shoot it in her hair.
Which is why I have a 17 year old! You do realize with the pull out method, guys can still leak something. It doesn't take much to get someone pregnant.Pull out method works 100%
Jekka's post is spot on, but I would still wait a month before solely relying on the pill. It is important to take it around the same time every day. Some women find it easier to remember before they go to be or while they're getting ready for work in the morning. If she misses a day, she should be okay protection wise, but if she misses two days in a row, she needs extra back up. Depending on which pill she's on, it's possible for spotting or not even getting a period at all.
Tell her to make a list of questions to ask her doctor, even if she thinks they sound silly. And Kudos for you for being responsible!
First of all LOL @ that
Secondly, he must have waited too long. You probably got the goods and he didn't want to waste a second.
Send her over to my place and tell you if she's ready.
^ the pullout method won't work if you don't, you know, pull out.
I think the main problem is the magical mystery pre ... Ive never had it or seen it in porno, but supposedly it exists for lots of men..
Just put it in the butt. Problem solved.
I dunno, but it pretty much worked for about 3 years! But it was all good cuz we had been married for about that long also.
The point is, don't fool yourself into thinking that you're gonna always pull out in time, so either put on a party hat or use some other form of protection!!
Dude, there's always lone star and wic(women in chanclas) if the pull out method doesn't work.
I would wait a month just to be on the 99.99% safe side but still use a jimmy hat or pull out.
worked for me untill 5 years ago. I blame the spurs game that was on at the time. I lost it.![]()
this doesnt work....the first time i thought it was a fluke so told my girl we try it again.....two kids later
wrap it, although never tried the pull out method.....
It works trust me. Just pull out and shoot it in her hair. The hair soaks it all up and gives her a shine that you can't get from store bought shampoos.
You are not supposed to have sex before marriage..... That's why people like myself and Trainwreck wait.
A word to the wise, I would not ever encourage some chick I like to go on the pill because I believe it makes some of them turn into a when they go on it...I've had that experience more than once. And I think I mentioned that and someone posted a link that it actually does impact them that way sometimes.
Put it this way, if you don't like the girl enough to get her pregnant, then you need to wear a condom, and if not having kids is really that important then it's going to most likely you up a lot less to wear a condom than it is her to undergo a possible complete personality transformation due to altered hormones.
I'm not saying the pill never has it's place, only that it should be a last resort instead of a first.
My wife tried Depo Provera and it made her y(er than normal). She tried a couple other pills, same thing. So I wore condoms when we had sex despite her objections. The hormonal birth controls definitely screwed with her head but she just wanted to get knocked up, as well. But 9 years later, I'm still child free.
Even if you're married, you should still use some form of birth control unless both of you are trying to have a child.
You 2 will be waiting a long time---marriage between 2 men is still not legal.
Unless they move to Massachusetts.
True. But I don't think they want to leave this area![]()
