Alright Geek Squad...help me out.

The game runs...It's working. I gt through the intro where Jnny McCarrthy and her pretty face runs around and says "You're wonderful for playing this game! Now you'll look exactly like me!" After that, when it goes to set up the profile, like to get started the screen goes black and all I have is an arrow. I hear music and the guide telling me I need to get started.

I'm reading on their website that the game comes with a webcam. Do you have it plugged in and working properly?

The game should run. Even an integrated card isn't a total pile of crap these days, and that game isn't going to be made for gamers-only computers, it would be idiotic since no gamer is going to play it.

The desktop would need a massive overhaul. More memory and a new video card. I think we have extra memory here (at home) but I don't know if buying a new card would be worth it. I installed it on it and the screen was white. I didn't even get to the profile section.

It's pretty much a lost cause.

I have like 5 video cards laying around the house that are pretty decent (nothing special compared to todays cards but they should run the game).

Lets see here....

Just on my desk within reach I have:

EVGA Geforce 8600 GT (PCIe)
BFG Geforce 6800 GT (AGP)
and a EVGA Geforce 6800 GS (PCIe)

Your welcome to have one (or all). they are just sitting here not being used. As far as I know, they all work.

I MIGHT have another newer AGP card laying around somewhere that I took from work as well (no, I didnt steal it ). I think its in a computer that I no longer use.

Let me know and we can set up a time and place for pickup if you dont mind using your desktop.

You will need to find out if your desktop has AGP or PCIe slots. From the sound of it, its pretty old and probably has AGP but you never know. If its even older than AGP technology then yeah, its not worth upgrading.

so youre upset at me because i suggested something most rational people who are really ready to get in shape would do? let me reiterate what i said before, no video game is going to get you in shape! step away from the tv and the wii(or your computer) and go outside and run and whatnot.
