Come on, it's Clash of the ans. The original was crap to begin with, absent Ray Harryhausen's work (which is now kind of laughable).
That will never happen.

One does not laugh at Harryhausen's work without feeling the wrath of the gods.
Sorry, I really enjoy Harryhausen's work (this, Sinbad), but it's dated. Same sort of thing with Hitch 's The Birds.
The first trailer didn't exactly blow my skirt up. The leaked second one was better - pacing was just slightly slower while maintaining the energy of the first; which allowed a better look at everything.
It's about time we got a true badass giant monster - the Balrog in FOTR was the last holy giant beastie to see in theaters - the Kraken has the potential to be great if they manage to frame it and really show it off. If it's all shots from a mile away or so close all you can see is a small portion of the monster, then it will be a wasted opportunity.
Looks like every/any other CGI fest that you see these days. You'd think that the ability to visualize anything would be a boon to creativity, but more often than not it's not.
The Krakken looks beastly. Blair could take it out though.
The problem I have with movie haters..... They are NEVER satisfied.
you know what? let us all see your most awesome, origional, movie script. Otherwise, STFU and just enjoy the movie for what it's worth. If not, dont go see the damned movie. It's LITERALLY that ing SIMPLE!
My guess is, you will go see it, then proceeed to bash it up on spurstalk, even though you liked it, just so you can maintain your cred.
I, at least, have the sense to see the movie for myself before I all over it. If it sucks, it sucks. I dont think it will.

Just watched the new trailer. I don't know if I am sold on the story but it looks like it could be a decent couple of hours of eye candy. Krakken...
I was just watching the trailer (HD on apple trailers website) and noticed a familiar face.
This movie has Mads Mikkelsen in it. Oh snap. Coolest character in that King Arthur movie.
His accent was distracting in that movie.
Plus, that movie sucked so much balls it's unbelievable.
