Palin wanted to spend a nice relaxing day at the beach. After realizing she needed a visor to protect herself from the glaring sun, instead of buying a new expensive visor she decided it was much more fiscally responsible to service an already used visor from her past. She obviously couldn't have her fiscally responsible used visor advertising McCain after he scrubbed it up in 2008. She therefore used quick thinking to mark out such an endorsement.

This is the obvious common sense approach Mrs. Palin takes to things in her life.

Most of Paul Rolly's work focuses on trivial little consumer/human interest things- columns with les like 'irony at the DMV' or 'local good Samaritans' and in this case 'self-aggrandizing media steals from hard working Utahn'.

snc doesn't have first clue about any of that though. So he can go himself with that 'bias' story.
