Nice guy. Another mention of Tiago. He said he is someone they have great hopes for. Nothing to specific, but a random mention when it really did not warrant it. The question was about FT's and he brought up Tiago (poked a little fun at him for his FT's).

Dennis also said they were surprised Tiago lasted so long in the draft. They figured they could be good with or without Tiago which is why they took the chance. Said they hope to see him in the near future, and he has an out in his contract. Mentioned he has every right to explore the European market.

Did some mind games by saying "good news is that if he wants to play in the best league in the world, which the best players usually do, the Spurs have his rights".

Then said he spent some time with Tiago this summer and said Tiago is very excited about being a Spur, because of the climate of the team (international flavor, spanish speaking...). Said both parties are hopeful.

Mentioned Javtokas and Nando de Colo. Watched Splitter and Nando play each other in November and said Nando must get stonger in order to take the next step.

Spoke about Ian. Said he had a very good year in the D-League 2 summers ago. Then came the injury and things went south. Said Ian is in an unfortunate situation because he is a good player that can't get minutes on a team with championship aspirations right now.

Said it was emotionally hard to let go of Fab.

Regarding Ian, I didn't get the sense that the organization was still "high" on him. Especially the veiled comment of "he's a talented player and I'm sure it will work out for him, whether it's here or someplace else." Not exactly a ringing endorsement on his future with the club. Seems to me that if there were still high on him, he would've just come out and proclaimed their intentions to keep him around for the future.

I got the same feeling. I think it basically confirmed that Ian is not going to be a Spur next season.
