This is what you get when you take the entire training camp, pre-season and part of the regular season to figure out that Matt Bonner and Michael Finley are no longer starting caliber players. Something that was obvious to most spurs fans by the end of last season.
And then on top of that you throw another guy in the starting lineup partway through the season (Bogans) who was originally signed as a cheap insurance policy only.
So right there, you've got major changes going on in the starting lineups.
Then figure that Jefferson, Blair and McDyess are all new to the system, Parker, Duncan, Manu, and Mason have all missed games w/ various ailments, and its just going to take awhile to get anybody in a groove.
I actually think the spurs are doing pretty damn good despite everything that's going on. They are right there in the thick of things, a few games back from being a 4th or 5th seed. It's doubtful they will catch the lakers or nuggets, but I give them a good chance to eventually move past the mavericks to the #3 seed.
