i've still got the sense echoing my mind that Tim Duncan will start again like the past several straight years. Spurs fans are known the loyalest basketball fans hence there's enough reason to believe their votes will escalate Tim there once more, like the way Rockets "fans" elevated their in the several years run where this started in each and every all-star game. The only minor discrepancy is Tim Duncan might deserve a couple all-star appearances when he was younger, while all the all-star appearances had purloined are absolutely undeserved ones.

Stoudamire for sure starting center for West.

Bynum has completely fallen off since Pau came back so he doesn't deserve it. Amare has to be the starter. He still might be good enough to get voted in by the coaches as the back up center though due in large part to the lack of good centers.

Even AJ deserves an all-star nomination that Bynum does imho. Although Al's stats have been seen considerable plummets this season, it's still not enough to prove his capabilities also shriveled this bad, even if I concede he did have slumped a little bit due to the injury he suffered from last season.

The wolves imported/drafted plentiful young players in summer and the young players are exactly the persons wolves set their hope on. Al isn't old biologically but the 04' is already among the oldest players on the team of wolves, and it's quite sure his meagre space will get further squeezed after Rubio joins.

sons for those of you picking Deron Williams as a starter ... do you even bother looking at the numbers? a ing starter?? are you serious? maybe a reserve ok, but this is the ALL STAR game. Individual numbers mean everything and Williams is barely holding on to being the 3rd best point guard in the West! either Paul or Nash should be starting with Deron MAYBE getting in as a reserve due to Parker having an off year.

    Chris Paul
    Points: 21.4 (1st)
    Assist: 11.4 (1st), leads NBA
    Rbds: 4.2 (2nd)
    Steals: 2.1 (2nd)
    FG%: .540 (1st)
    3P%: .490 (1st)
    FT%: .877 (2nd)

    Deron Williams
    Points: 19.6 (2nd)
    Assist: 10.2 (3rd)
    Rbds: 4.3 (1st)
    Steals: 1.2 (3rd)
    FG%: .481 (5th)
    3P%: .367 (3rd)
    FT%: .734 (4th)

    Steve Nash
    Points: 18.2 (3rd)
    Assist: 11.3 (2nd)
    Rbds: 2.8 (4th)
    Steals: 0.4 (5th)
    FG%: .534 (3rd)
    3P%: 453 (2nd)
    FT%: .941 (1st), leads NBA

son that's not even the point that I am trying to make (although you're right, its true) ... it just blows my mind how blind some people are. Williams may be good enough to make the team as a reserve, but a ing starter? LMAO. both Nash and Paul are playing out of their minds right now putting up career numbers. , Paul's 3pt shooting percentage ALONE is even better than Williams FIELD GOAL PERCENTAGE! lol. I just don't see how anyone in their right mind who understands the game of basketball can say that Williams is playing better than Nash or Paul.
