1) I'm not sure how interesting this comment is....there's not much to comment on, but it's nice to hear a team veteran calling out to his team to pull it together and make a solid attempt to start playing at an elite level.

Ginobili is just less re edly saying what the really disgruntled members of this board are saying, "If we wait for February to start playing well it may be too late. The Western Conference is too compe ive to 'just stay afloat' til after the All-Star break. Our team comes usually develops into a higher quality team late in the season but the timing is a coincidence of a 4 month learning curve ending when the rodeo trip starts. I hope we can start winning soon. I want us to be a better team now."

On SpursTalk that comment will look like, "Pop is a fukin' senile wimp with now bawls. When is he gonna realize that we're fuct with Tony Parker playing with no heart and Richard Jefferson having a big contract. Any team that relies on Matt "Ugly White Mother er" Bonner to score 20ppg is doomed to fail miserably and head to the lottery. Roger Mason better not play like a little he better start making shots or he's fukin' worthless trade him, Finley, and Bonner for Andre Iguodala and let's win some fukin' championships"

2) bit of a bummer that this thread, one that asks for legitimate basketball talk without a call for -talking the latest role player who DIDN'T drop 22 points in the previous game, doesn't get a response besides a weird gif and 2 response comments about said gif. So many people act like they "know about basketball" and "the solution to the Spurs' failures is so simple if only you'd read my threads on SpursTalk!!!" but nobody says anything besides "woah, wacky gif...go spurs" ???????

Most of the posters here have their mouths full of potato chips and popcorn and only recognize a dunk, fully neglecting every other facet of the game. Sometimes I chech the top of the page to make sure I'm not at a site called " talk."

It is not as if no one wants to talk basketball. Just when you post something negative or something no one likes to hear, someone comes out with a vengence confronting you.
