If Wade can lead a team of players who needs the ball (Payton, Shaq,Antoine Walker,James Posey,Jason Williams) then what makes y'all think a Bron (who is a very willing passer) and Wade (also a willing passer) wont work?
I think that's the problem with them two. You don't need to double team them out on the perimeter. It's alot like TP and RJ.
The same tactics teams use against TP/RJ right now can apply to Wade/LeBron because they're both most effective slashing to the basket. Neither one posts up and both start their attack at the 3 point line.
So you let them shoot 3 point shots with just one defender and bring the other 3 guys into the paint. No need for double-teaming.
As Stretch said, their talent is much greater, so that may be enough to overcome but I am not sure.
Neither was Pippen. Pippen couldn't shoot for , let alone 3's.
Lebron's shooting >> Pippen's shooting. On top of doing everything else better than Pippen did except defending.

it isnt close. Pippen/Jordan BOTH are in a different league defensively than those guys...it isn't even remotely close. Jordan had the best post game in the NBA at the time.... Pippen didn't need the ball in his hands to have a dramatic impact on the game.....wade and lebron both do...

The is that you specifically were talking about offense, and Wade's need for floor space that would be hurt by Lebrons bad shooting. Except on offense both of them are better shooters than Pippen, who couldnt shoot the ball for and also NEEDED the ball and yet still somehow coexisted effectively with jordan on OFFENSE, which is wat the you were talking about. Not the same position as in PG/SG/SF/PF/C, I mean the same spots on the floor.
LeBron and Wade both initiate their plays from the 3 point line. Either they drive and score, drive and kick or shoot a 3.
They play different positions but their style of play is very similar.
So to defend them, you send 2 guys out to the 3 point line and collapse 3 guys in the lane.
Kobe/Gasol > Wade/Lebron
um lebrons post game has definitely improved. its not like a top notch game yet, but its gonna take time to develop, and he has clearly been utilizing it more effectively this year.

I've seen LeBron in the post this year, he looks clumsy.
His only move is to swing to the center and jump hook. He doesn't get deep position and his shot looks more like a throw than a shot.
