Gooden was a lottery pick who was traded in his rookie year, twice on his rookie contract, and four times overall, in addition to being waived by Sacto and not retained by SAS. He was on three teams last year. All of that should tell you something. Teams, at some point, just decide they can live without his lazy ass one way game.

Well Marion is our version of Bruce Bowen that can rebound. Scoring is off and on with him. Hopefully he can help the offense in the playoffs. Gooden played decently as a starter. Once he came off the bench, he started to really play bad. Yeah, he sucks. But you should have seen the idiot homers on this site. Last year, Gooden was like the second coming simply because he was on the Spurs. Any intelligent basketball fan can understand why he's been on like a dozen teams during his NBA career.
Yes. He is one of the best defenders in the nba at the SF position. Not as much at the PF due to lack of size. But he has been great for us against players like Lebron, Kobe, and etc.
He owned the out of Duncan earlier this year. Why are they talking ?
