I thought Lebron did a good job today doing what needed to be done to get his team the "W". He wasn't coming out to show anybody up.
I'll give credit to Mike Brown for some adjustments he made. Last year the Lakers recognized how much Lebron was the catalyst for the Cavs scoring and creating their offense. The Laker defense zoned around Lebron and pretty much neutralized him and the entire Cavs offense in both games. Lebron also forced his game quite a bit.
Today was a completely different offense the Cavs ran. It was a lot of movement and motion by the players. Lebron didn't have to pound the ball so much and he was even running through staggered screens to get shots. When the Laker defense followed him all over the floor it was leaving other players wide open and they were simply cutting to the rim for easy baskets. Also Lebron went into the post and used his strength against Artest who really couldn't stop him down there without a double team. Good job to Mike Brown for the adjustments.
the cavs zoned up the lakers. nothing in the paint if anyone got in there double or make them shoot 3's. if kobe got in the paint, they were letting them play so he got hammered but the physicality was allowed
