There's a reason he was the 11th pick and then was forced to play overseas. He sucks by NBA standards. And he's not a bust today, he was a bust when he was drafted.
I don't know this guy pulled of a highlight video like this
Only to flop every time he holds an NBA ball. Euroleage = Preps league perhaps?

Dollar-wise, a team that pays Jefferson 14 millions can't really complain about Haislip.
Just play him.
you cant say that the guy is a bust if he does not get a chance to play.
He never should have been signed. His nba game is weak. If they play him, he will only be exploited for the player he is. Be happy that he has had minimal success in garbage time. Beyond that, you couldn't really ask for anything more.
Who cares? He hardly even plays.
+1
If he isn't going to get playing time anyways, what difference does it make?
Tell that to all the Mahinmi haters.
a guy signed to be the 10th 11th or 12th guy, 13th 14th or 15th guy....lets trade him for elson...he's the bucks 10th 11th or 12th through 15th guy....
At this moment he's just gonna be a filler if any trades go down.
wow, had no idea he had athleticism like that
He Is No All Star... But If Given The Opportunity, I think He could Be A Decent NBA Player..
god im tired of ya'lls shiit!, play the damn guy and see what happens!!!! then we'll see Haislip>dice. bust? has he even played ten minutes? get over it
I've gotta agree with some of the posters here.
How can he be a bust without given the opportunity?
Remember how long it took Bonner to get decent minutes?
Remember how long it took for Bonner to become a difference maker? I'm still waiting.
You and I aren't watching the same game.
i expect him to get some real pt tonight....idk i just have a hunch
pop with give td some rest plus with the runn and gun knicks
it fits his style
I expect him to move up to 10 mins per game next season, if he decides to stay.
Isn't it up to the team?
I think that if he shows a professional at ude Pop will eventually give him playing time to see how much he has improved or not to be a legit NBA player
Kinda like James White, eh? Tremendous athlete but doesn't seem to be able to put it all together. Too bad but he may surprise us one day if he ever starts improving on the practice team. The reason he isn't on the floor is because he failed to earn minutes in training camp and preseason. Hopefully for him the Spurs will get some more blowouts and he can get on the floor. Maybe then he can catch those passes and get a highlight dunk. He blew a beautiful Hairston pass last night agianst the Bucks. Didn't seem like he was looking for it. Not a good sign for him.
You have to be a very smart player to be able to start for the Spurs and maybe it's taking him longer to figure out rotations. Either way it is not like we were expecting him to be our teams savior............
Against a team like the Knicks (loaded with long combo forward) and given the situation (playing roughly nineteen hours after their previous game ended), seeing Haislip still not getting any run, despite the fact that he was presumably brought in for situations like this, is very telling. The Spurs would rather play three bigs and be undersized in myriad match-ups than play Haislip even sparingly.
At this point it's abundantly clear that he's strictly around in case a rash of injuries occurs to the Spurs front court and because his contract is extremely reasonable meaning he could easily fit into a trade to make the money work or as a de facto expiring contract should the Spurs see fit to make a trade.
Nice assessment and extra bonus for using the word "myriad" correctly without an "a" in front of it.
The contract amount and length for Haislip is the only thing I was ever concerned about when it was reported the Spurs had signed him. A 2-year guaranteed deal was surprising, to say the least.
