there's some deep psychology here at work. deep down, you know that the thuggets are a threat while the mavs really are not. so you'd like for the mavs to win, proving that denver isn't as good as you feared and you can rest your little head at night. i too, hope the mavs win, but obviously for different reasons. no matter who wins tonight, denver will be a force to reckon with come playoff time if they can just keep it together. when this team clicks, theyre deadly, but they can implode just as quickly. in other words they're very streaky. whether they're hot or cold tonight won't make a bit of difference come may.
I hope the Nugs pound that Mav ass 'till it screams.
They beat the Hawks without Billups, so it isn't really that bad.
Dallas is good on the road, but I think the Nuggets can handle it. Right now, winning at home is their only hope to maintain their good record.
because they took you to 6 last year, it was alot closer in reality than the final score indicated, they're athletic and dangerous, and have only had more time to gel as a unit since the arrival of billups and melo is having a career year and is even considerably better than before. plus the addition of lawson. don't try to act like you ain't scared, your posts and at ude says it all

mavs may very well win, but the nuggets are a better team and bigger threat overall. you're looking at the #2 and #3 best teams in the west, mavs being 3rd
No Billups means that the mavs will get rolled by 20+ points

Melo's supporting cast carried the nuggs in the first half, now it's time for melo to go off in the 2nd half and put the mavs away. Gooden and jho won't play like that in the 2nd
