The NBA forum historically has been the best part of the site, but has become insufferable lately. I want to talk basketball, not jack off over some future playoff team losing a regular-season game.
Kori, I got an idea. Why not you just create a section for the Lakers, like what you did for the Pistons fans? That way, we can troll them on their section.

The NFL forum is getting bad but it's still not as bad as it is in here. The LMAO/ROFL/LOL threads are annoying. Everyone tries to start one so they can get a 5 page thread of worthlessness going.
What if we stopped feeding the trolls (or leave them half hungry at least)? A lmao or lol thread is bound to pop up but if no one or very few people reply then it should deter people from making future threads

So what's the new template for a thread when a team is getting beat? "Team X is beating Team Y" isn't gonna cut it.
I wouldn't even care if the thread was en led "LOL Lakers" if the rest of the posts in the thread weren't...

I find the lol threads dumb, that's why I have pretty much stopped reading them all togethet, sure a team sucks or loses. All teams do that in a NBA season at least one game

Frankly I like posts that discuss how to improve teams or rat out underachieving players,... or random junk like why people follow the NBA, teams etc...
The LOL threads were funny, but those should be saved for big upsets not every loss a contender has, or in this case people going after non contenders with the same type of thread.
spurs started what like 6-6 or something, a bunch of these threads popped up with no sightings from the e-police...Lakers lose 2 out of 3 and theyre getting ridiculed and suddenly these threads need to be cut down? that
its just trash talk, makes wins that much sweeter and losses that much worse...if you cant handle that dont click on those threads simple as that.
