    This is getting almost comical...

    Here we go again.

The injury-depleted Trail Blazers have encountered another setback as reserve guard Steve Blake has been hospitalized with pneumonia.

Blake, who has shown signs of being sick for weeks, was admitted to a local hospital Friday morning and is expected to remain there for a few days. He will miss Saturday night’s game versus the Golden State Warriors at the Rose Garden and possibly more as he is out indefinitely.

Rudy and Batum are due back soon, no? More Bayless now and that is a good thing.

Bayless is averaging 17 ppg, 5 apg and has a 3+/1 assist/turnover ratio in the six games he's played 25 minutes or more. Portland is 5-1 in those six games.

Yup. There was probably some truth to the earlier reports that Nate wants to play Bayless more but can't because of Roy's love for Blake. No Blake, no choice.

Oh and mills is actually better now. I forgot he was sent to the d league to try and get back in. Game shape earlier this week.. they will probably be calling for him quickly.

And rudy and batum are expected back at the very end of the month if things go as planned(knocks on wood)

My thing is, Portland tried/did screw the living out of Utah this summer. I mean, Pritchard went out of his way to stick it right in their eye. Which is something GM's just don't do. So sorry, Portland, I normally liked that team and wouldn't wish injury on anyone, but hey, just desserts.

Pistons haven't had nearly as much bad luck as Portland, but in the early part of this season, Rip, Ben Gordon, and Will Bynum all had sprained ankles. Then yesterday, the third game BG and Rip had come back, both Rodney Stuckey and Ben Wallace sprained their ankles. Again, not as horrible as what Portland is going through, but pretty weird coincidentally as well. 5 guys on the same team all with sprained ankles about 30 games into the season.

By trying to sign a FA is screwing them? That is just being an over sensitive cry baby.

He's just pissed because we signed Millsap to an offer sheet that Utah had to match.

As a percent of team salary, I'm sure Rockets still wins

I'm thinking this year you should schedule the parade route around the hospital. That way the players can be involved.
