Here is my take on the matter...
Laker lovers are like their team. Not in the sense that they win, but that they are always in the spotlight and you cannot help but believe them when they say that they just gave you the best love you ever had. Why? Because everyone else said so.
Mav lover is also like the team. After it is all said and done, they are crying alone, with you disappointed again.
Spur lover takes so much time to even get started, that you fall asleep before it even begins.
