How come Slomo avoids contest?

I was downtown here in san antonio last night for new years and I saw these cops put some guy against a fence and they were checking him for drugs or whatever so I found it interesting and I took some pictures... one cop noticed me and came up to me and said "I wouldn't do that if I were you." He put his hand on my back and gave me a little push and told me to be on my way. Is it against the law to take a picture of a cop? I probably should have asked him but he didn't look too happy and I didn't want to make things worse and ruin my night but I am very curious why he didn't want me taking pictures.

Doesn't matter. It is easier to be in control with a SLR, but you can take good pictures with compact digital cameras - actually the quality of the small cheap cameras is continuously going up. The price of the camera shouldn't be an obstacle if you want to improve your skills.

computer art has many definitions, it can be part photo and part animation , it can be something created in MS paint. But if you have talent it will show.

The person above would get tossed out of any photo shop topic on this board. And he expects to win 1,000.00 dollars?

Now this guy was creative he took some sink facet heads and made this.



It's simple good colors not too much crap and different. he should be in the top three.

Now lets look at what this fool is try to accomplish...

Unless this guy was born without arms and legs and made that 4th grade drawing by sticking a marker in his ass, I just don't get it.




now these guys are ok but they let the software do all the work and i think it doesn't show much talent.





Don't get me wrong they are cool to look at when your taking a , but where is the human element? where is the creativity, it's just someone using Auto CAD or some other software.

Then you have people who are trying to say something but no one can figure out what it is.






personally I think this guy deserves at least the top three since his art creation was made using 1999 printshop and no other software.

I saw some of the previous Donnie winners and it's hard to figure out what the judges are looking for. It's almost as if they lined up all the art and just threw a dart to see where it lands.

Dude that is so 1984. The gay bashes were everywhere and you had to hide. Times have changed! It's 2010.. Gay people are well woven into politics,law enforcement, and everyday life. You need to be proud and stand tall, don't make the Gay community take a step backwards after you have come all this way.
