By the way how do you up winning back to back 3 times? Shameful.
No 'everyone' did not.

The Lakers are the Team of the Decade. Everyone knows that.
Spurs: Team of the Regular season this decade![]()

Ohhh noeees you sure showed me on that one![]()
Did you miss out on the word "almost"? I pity Laker fans who are unable to read. Things are still going well in Lala land though. 2005 playoffs missed. If you want to drag out head to head matchups, the Spurs would have stomped you in 2005, 2006, 2007.
My man, you win the ing prize in this thread.

Again with the regular season success. I'd rather the Lakers miss the playoffs than choke in the first round to a sad Dallas team - as the three seed. Embarrassing.
Fact: 4 championships is superior to 3. A three-peat is superior to 3 les with no back to backs. Sorry![]()
Maybe some day San Antonio will become relevant again.

ing Nihilists.
I forgot about that special LOB trophy for winning back2back or 3peats.
Please post a pic of that special 3peat LOB that the Lakers have. I have yet to see it.
Cool story brah.

But....but.....but.....Manu was injured...we'll show em next year!!!!
And that's precisely the argument many make against the Lakers being as good as their 24-6 record indicates. Needing a buzzer beater to win against the likes of Milwaukee, Miami and Sacto is less than impressive.
the same happened last year lol
But......but....but, D-Whistle got all the calls....we'll show em next year!!!!!
Fast Forward:
But......but......but, we suck against the Warriors...we'll show em next year!!!!

He had 3 buzzer beaters in the first 30-some games last year as well?
You forgot something.....
And then for bonus points (optional)

this doesn't even make sense.
Michael Jordan hit 25 of them in his career..a bunch of them against crappy teams; and nobody's going to say those Bulls teams were less than impressive. the Lakers just went up 40 points on the #2 team in the West too.
Any crappy NBA team can beat the best NBA team on any given night and any team good or bad can trail by 40 as well.

While the close calls are concerning, the poise in which Kobe has shown in his GW shot is undeniable. The combination of injuries and a bench that got fat off the starters' success have to really be put in focus. You can also call it championship malaise because of the recent success the Lakers have, but don't discredit their record nor the fact that other top-notch teams are losing to so-called bottom dwellers. I mean, this is the NBA and Sacramento isn't William & Mary. Every team is going to struggle for stretches during the season. I'm just glad its still only January and not closer to playoff time.
Lame. I just saw the replay on nba fantasy insider by Rick Kamla and saw the replay. They paused the part where Kobe bumped into Sergio. Kobe hugged Sergio and stepped on his foot, which is why Sergio "flopped".
Kobe gave Sergio the Sasha treatment.
Amazing that people need things like this explained to them.![]()
