    I love watching Mav/Lakers games. They are usually pretty damn good. Plus you get to see Dirk all over Pau.

    Agreed. Usually they are very nice games. Your're right about Dirk and Pau, but after that elbow injury he fell into a slump and had some bad games (20 against Memphis, followed by 13 against Denver and 11 against Houston). Yesterday he was a bit better again. If he's on the rise again, very likely we will see Dirk owning Pau tonight.

    Won't happen Lamar gaurds him as long as he ca stay out of foul trouble ... Lakers NEED this more than Mavs heading on teh road soon and we have played ty the past 2 weeks EXCEPT Pau/Kobe (and LO last 2 games)

    We need to re-establish our west dominance but maybe tuff if Ron doesnt play ...

    Good stuff than, because either Pau or Bynum gotta hang with Marion, and I like the chances of that on the open court.

    But I think Pau can handle Dirk this time at least, with his elbow hurting he has been quite below his usual numbers.

    I think Phil matches small if no artest ...but we will see ... the key is Phil always leaves Kidd opens to help against dirk if Kidd hits like he did 1st game Mavs win ...Also teryy has also got good looks vs. us ...
    Dirk is Dirk he has killed us at times other Odom has kept him in check ...

    The Mavs won the first meeting in Staples this season, but the usual Staples game goes like this.

    Mavs go punch for punch early, then catch fire and take the lead and start to lose it at the end of the thrid quarter. Then the Lakers slowly comeback in the 4th and take the lead for good with about 2 minutes left in the game and go on to win
