good thing we did load the up on receivers though
No school needs guys like this on their team. You would think after not playing all year he would chomping at the bit to get into spring training and get his spot back. Guess not...this is a blessing in disguise, IMO, with the outstanding receiving core coming in as freshmen (i.e. Darius White and Mike Davis).
Gonna need some freshman receivers to step up big next year.
davis is legit
next year though might be rough on offense if tre newton doesnt go creMVP on thursday, malcolm and gilbert and not much else
im predicting tre newton comes back like Ghostbusters II in september
Marquis Goodwin and D.J. Monroe are way smaller than Mike Davis and both got significant playing time this year. His production will determine what kind of time he gets, not his size. With Brandon Collins most likely done as a Longhorn, Davis' chances of getting on the field have improved that much more.
nothing like robbing some dude at mcdonalds to further your football career. but honestly it doesnt matter who is gonna be receiving next year because garret is gonna tear it up regardless of whos catching them
