I hate to break this to you but its not just the Texans. Pretty much everyone that isnt a cowboy hates you guys.
lol Texan fans troll the most in the official Cowboys thread. I know it's not only Texan fans, as we do have alot of haters up in here. When we lose, havoc breaks lose in both the Cowboys thread and Cowboys sucks chodes thread. It's so funny some people like Will Hunting (aka DOK) would make a thread showing his obsession with the cowboys.

That only means there is about 70 people who are in the world who likes the Cowboys. I think the number is higher. Besides, not everyone knows Kamikaze..maybe some people like him.

    EDIT: 83 total

I dont think DOK is a Texans fan. I havent really been in the Cowboys thread. When I say Romo sucks, its cause I really believe that. When I say your coach sucks its cause I believe it. Well either way every fan base has its fair share of fans, some more than others (usually the successful teams). Like in any sport success goes to the heads of the fans and it shows so naturally you have trollers from less successful teams talking all the time.

I honestly, truly, rooted for the Texans until I saw the flaming s in here.

They just showed up out of nowhere, saying crap like "I hate Cowboy fans they're all so arrogant" without us even bothering them. And then when we won, they'd come in our thread and write crap like "lol 1996".

I mean, nobody gives a about the Texans, the only reason I rooted for them is because they've sucked HORRIBLY their whole existence.

Yes but you don't think Romo sucks because of a lack of talent, you think he sucks because he is a Cowboy.

Ever wonder what it's like to watch your team in the playoffs?
They did back in 1993.....when they were the Oilers.

Yeah, I know he's not a Texan fan, a Patriot fan, dunno how. I was just explaining that we have more than one team that hates or dislikes us. But anyways, I don't mind if you hate Romo or think he sucks, your opinion. But give credit when credits due when he actually plays well.

Nope...they were there 7 years in a row from '87 to '93. I wasn't old enough to be really interested until '90 or '91...so I fully experienced 3 or 4 seasons worth.
And benefactor don't give me any of that BS. Watching you post in the Texans thread I could tell this really meant a whole lot to you.

(BTW, you guys are still the only franchise to never play in a playoff game.)
I figured you go here. I let my high expectations this season get the best of me. Yes I had a meltdown. Yes I said I was done watching for the season. I owned up to these things and rejoined my team while they were still under .500 and I thought they were out of the playoffs. I posted all last year in the Texans thread too and stayed the course even after the Rosencopter debacle.

TBQH, you don't really have any place to say what does and does not mean anything to me. I have been a Houston football fan for a very long time, and I've seen a lot more adversity than any of you spoiled ass Cowboys fans can fathom. If anything, I'd say I've earned the right to have the occasional meltdown...but that said, it still doesn't make it right.

(BTW, how has that bellybutton been treating you over the past dozen or so years?)

Ill admit the Romo of old has been missing this dec. but one obstacle is left and thats week 1 of playoffs. Miles Austin has been a blessing for you guys, its just too bad you didnt figure that out last year before going after ROY. I am curious to see if Austin can excel as a number 1 WR.

Well first of all, its just a game, and its not even a team that you play on, so you shouldn't have any meltdowns.

I honestly, don't really invest much in my teams in any sport. I just like all Dallas teams. If they win or lose it doesn't affect my day in anyway but I still like to watch regardless. I just think its funny when people talk all this crap about my team thinking it affects me because I really could care less.

I myself think it's good for Texas to be represented by two teams. Like it's been said here, both teams have fans that are s.

However, there seemed to be a lot more Texans fans trolling the Cowboys threads this year.

I am not so sure its really Texans fans. Just like how we saw a rise of Colts posters this year. A lot of trolls figured it would be easy to attack the cowboys disguised as a Texan or other team. There really is only a handful of us that are real Texan fans.

You are absolutely right...you can meltdown anytime you want. You have remained loyal and that earns you the right and no one has the right to tell you how to be a fan. However, it works both ways...you don't have any place to say what anything means or doesn't mean to anyone as far as their fandom. You get pissed when someone challenges your fandom but then you drop the ignorant blanket "all cowboys fans are...." card.

You are right to defend yourself. It sounds like you lived through the Oilers days and never waivered. Good for you. Your loyalty should not be challenged but at the same time, you should challenge others.

As I have gotten into my 30's, I've actually gotten better about separating myself emotionally from my teams. I used to be a lot worse. You would have thought someone killed one of my parents when the Oilers left Houston.

They hype just got to me this year...especially after we were 5-3 and had almost beaten the Colts in Indy. I let myself take the next two losses way too hard which led to my subsequent meltdown. I knew better, but I did it anyway.

I hear ya man, after we beat the ans I knew this was goign to be a good season, then we barely lost to INDY and started ing up. I think we are on the brink and hope next year plays out better. The hype got me too but I also knew not to overhype cause of the last few years and sure enough here we are.

Point taken. I should not allow the fans in my demographic to categorize all fans. I'll start saying "most" instead of "all".
