I drink Diet Pepsi and Sugar Free Rockstar. Not together. I've been drinking Diet Pepsi since it was Pepsi Light. Regular Pepsi or Coke makes me sick with all the HFCS in it. On the rare occasions I drink coffee, I don't put anything in it except for sugar free Coffee Mate. For cooking, baking, etc. I use regular sugar.
Cola with sugar cane gets pretty old fast, you end up treating it the same as corn syrup cola. I had a period where I just had mexican cokes, the sweetness makes you sick after the novelty wears off.
I use sugar because it doesn't taste like cardboard. Equal/Splenda/whatever tastes nasty if you touch it to your tongue. I don't have problems dissolving sugar since everything that uses it takes hot water.
Hi, i'm from Portugal and i preffer Sweet'n Low, so crazy that i collect the sugar packets from Sweet'n Low.

I perused the Mythbusters episode list hoping to find the episode I am talking about, but no luck (Mythbusters has been on since '03?!)
Anyway, they make a bomb out of Sweet 'n Low. Apparently, its very flammable...like as in "Holy mother of God, thats a huge fireball!".

I don't sweeten most of my drinks (I don't really consume coffee), but if I were to pick one out of all the artificial sweetners, I'd go with Splenda. For the most part, I don't sweeten my iced tea...If I were, I'd probably select the unrefined natural sugar to do the job.
If the place I'm eating at does not serve already sweetened tea, I will use Sweet & Low. I grew up on it so I guess I'm just used to the taste. If I buy tea at the store I get the kind that is already sweetened.
For coffee I just use creamer. International Delight's Chocolate Carmel is my gold standard.
