Knicks Deny Magic Johnson Tickets To Game

The Knicks recently denied Magic Johnson's request for complimentary tickets to a game.
The New York Daily News writes that the request was denied in part because of Johnson's criticisms of former Knicks head coach Isiah Thomas.
Thomas remains close to Madison Square Garden chairman James Dolan.
The Knicks wouldn't comment on or deny what Johnson was told when he wasn't provided a ticket to New York's Dec. 7 game against Portland.
A source told the Daily News that when the Knicks didn't respond to Johnson's request immediately, he called the club to say he had made other plans.
Another source, however, claims that the Knicks were reluctant to give Johnson a ticket because they were upset with him.
In the recently released book about Johnson and Larry Bird en led "When the Game Was Ours," Magic reveals that he was partly responsible for keeping Thomas off the 1992 Olympic Dream Team.

Personally, I'm sick of Magic Johnson. Loved him as a player. Don't like all his commerical grandstanding to keep his face on TV. He bolted TNT for ESPN because he wanted to have his face on the NBA Finals. Now he wants the VIP treatment at Knicks games. You're part owner of the damn Fakers. Just go away.
I'm still pissed at the stale popcorn I received at one of his theaters while watching Inglorious Basterds...
I love Magic, but what the ? What makes him think he's en led to free tickets from anyone but the Lakers?

Like the article said, Jimmy Dolan and Isiah are like peas and carrots. Why do you think Isiah stuck around as long as he did? Dolan's dumb, cokehead ass loves Isiah. In fact, I suspect the only reason Dolan finally fired him is because his daddy threatened to take back control of MSG if he didn't.
Magic wipes his ass with hundred dollar bills and Dolan makes Magic look poor. Money obviously wouldn't be an issue here.
