I'm in the third season of watching all the episodes of Star Trek Enterprise, the series with Scott Bakula as Capt. Archer. I was really busy while it was being aired originally. It's the best of the spin offs in my humbleness of opinionated righteousness. Lot's of creative writing, intriguing plots, and action. Of course, they remain morality plays for the most part.
PonFarr is more fun with T'Pol than it is with Spock.
I'm definitely getting my geek on.
My favorite Original Trek character has got to be Spock. Of all times... thats a tough one.
. . that said, I'm a Kirk man myself. With all the alien 'vagina' (let's hope) he's had, one clearly must admit he's not afraid to go where no man has gone before.
Hard for me to choose one really(especially when it comes to TNG) but I'll give it a shot by picking my favorites from each series:
TOS: Kirk
TNG: Q - If he doesn't count then Picard.
DS9: Chief O'Brien up until Worf shows up in season 4. Then it's Worf from there on out.
Voyager: Don't care
Enterprise: Don't care
Bones from the original ST. But Picard is my all-time favorite ST character.
